Absolute useless police department. Never been able to file a police report unless online, takes forever to get anyone to respond to actual emergencies, and just a complete waste of space and money.

How does a police station that is supposedly 24 hours according to the automated system, close at 8pm with a piece of paper taped to the door saying the office closes at 8pm. What a waste of tax dollars and sorry excuse for a police department

4-14-2022 Honestly can't even being to understand the poor decisions made by the LAPD shutting down the 405 southbound for over 10 hours. Surely there must have been a better way to go about the situation but apparently there is a lack of manpower as well as brain power in law enforcement these days.

I couldn’t agree more. We pay for a service (taxes), and never get to use it. The police department has become a failed public service, it no longer works.

You have to call the police and tell them that there is abuse in your home with your husband. You can request a court restraining order to keep your husband away, but first there must be a police report.

Visit the police station closest to your work area and explain to the officer at the window what you need and he will give you a number or address so that they get what you are looking for
