I grew up in Berkeley. So visiting the Berkeley Humane Society to donate was a pleasant reason to return to my hometown. My family loves cats, and Berkeley Humane has always been there to help them. BEST CARE anywhere!

Thank u for allowing me to adopt my favorite guy Artie, he's still funny, wild, sweet, and has his own personality, he's my forever animal, i saved him, but he doesn't really know he saved me when i was going through a rough time, as fate had it we came into eachother's lives when we needed someone the most. Thank u for my Artie, i will continue to treat him like a king.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Berkeley humane. They provide a great service at an affordable price. They really take pride in what they do.

Added a new family member from here. Staff are super helpful and the facility is in a nice spot by the water. The actual paperwork and process to adopt was super simple as well. (Jimmy G, Oct 19)

There is information on Berkeley Humane website about volunteering. They have scheduled orientations. Must do training depending on type of service you want to provide.
I'm not for sure
Yes, they accept.
Yes, you can sign up for a volunteer orientation on berkeleyhumane.org, under the "get involved" section!
You can bring them to your local municipal animal shelter.
You will be able to find one there. Most likely with up to date shots. They have a website showing the animals available. It's a very clean place. The animals are well cared for. Berkeleyhumane.org. Happy finding!
No, they don't. I'm not sure about the Berkeley City animal shelter.
Check out Berkeley Humane's website for all the details: https://berkeleyhumane.org/Volunteer You have to be 16+ to volunteer independently. But volunteers 12 to 15 are allowed if they have a parent volunteering with them.
The society is open to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please go as there are still many who need loving homes.
You can bring it to the Berkeley human facility on 9th street.
