PAY FIRST. There is NO obvious signage about parking fees. The two yellow machines are difficult to see if you have never parked here and can not find signs about how to pay. There are no signs directing you to machines, and concrete pillars obstruct the machines. Only upon returning to the garage as you walk back down the steps, you will see the machine in front of you and a small sign above it. But TOO LATE because you will already have a $78 ticket. We emailed the school to dispute the excessive fee and they replied stating their garages all have plenty of signs.

Thank you for your answers. Actually, this year the Big Game will be played in Palo Alto. The Cal Marching Band will be leaving for Palo Alto at 6:00 AM. I will be traveling with them. Since there is no Cal-Stanford football game in Berkeley, my question was about if there were any other parking restrictions in that lot on that day. I am coming from far away at a very early hour, so in this situation, public transportation is not an option.
The entrance for cars and trucks is on Bancroft Ave., before reaching Dana Street. Pedestrians can access the garage in the basement of the MLK Jr. Building or Eshleman Hall, or on Spieker Plaza.
Sorry, no! Only pay-per-hour parking is available here.
Yes! This parking lot is located directly under Zellerbach Hall.
