It rained on the day my party attended. The ride still would have been enjoyable, but we spent about 10 minutes just parked on the tracks in the woods in the rain while staff waited for the track to be free for us to return to the station. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly!

Family fun for the kids... or those of us who are children at heart. Scenic ride along beautiful Meramec greenway with real steam or diesel locomotives run by real nice hobbyists/volunteers. You get a ticket for q whole rail car, which has 5 seats.

Beautiful place and amazing ride. The ride is reasonably priced and the duration is close to 30 mins. The train takes you through woods, old bridges, creeks all along the meramec river. Since the track is not a closed loop, The engine needs to be moved from front to back and vice versa to complete a ride, this movement causes a little delay but also provides an opportunity to take pictures. The ride would be much more beautiful during fall. Have fun !
