Nice experience. Beautiful train ride. We did coach seats and added a meal. Food was very good....but balancing tray on your lap was not easy...and no where to put your drinks. Definitely recommend going to open car for amazing views. Found it to be a little pricey....and would have expected some kind of information about the bridge or train ride. No info provided at all.

My family and I really enjoyed the ride. Everyone working there was great and we had no problems with anything. Food was good but not great. Although I wasn't expecting much it was decent for what you got. The food prices are expected to be a bit higher because this is essentially an amusement ride. We opted for the Vista Dome and we were seated on the "cliff" side. A bit of a disappointment because you can't see the river from that side. Looking back, I probably wouldn't pay extra for the Vista Dome even if we had the "river" side. We sat, we ate and promptly went to open air car for the rest of the visit. My only complaint is they should consider a second open air car. With only one car it got very crowded.

The experience was wonderful. I definitely recommend spending a little more and getting breakfast in the Sunshine Falls cabin. Cathie and Brenda were great and so knowledgeable. It was like getting a once in a lifetime experience with an added tour. We had an unforgettable time! Thank you!

This is the most beautiful, calming, and easy way to explore the mountains. I highly recommend buying cheap seats on the train because you'll be standing outside the whole time. And it is seriously breathtaking. The view and the sounds of the river and wind. Really you have to try this! The serving staff was also so friendly and kind, and really lovely to chat with. Everyone was really helpful and had tons of tib bits of information! The train itself was super clean and not too cramped. The bathrooms were very clean as well. I would've loved to try the food, but the kitchens looked amazing and all the food passing by smelled delicious.

Yes, you can pre purchase and order when on the train. I agree with Shawn. The burgers are very good! I was pleasantly surprised. They also make a pretty good Margarita.
I'm not aware of other discounts. Only the ones for military active duty or retired.
Around 2 hours.
Standard ticket price 40.00$ per ticket plus tax dinner trips are more expensive .The ride itself is a memory that will last forever
