Staff is lovely, horses are angels ... just an incredible way to spend a Sunday morning. I almost don't wanna share this secret, but I like these folks too much to keep them from ya! If you love a great trail ride on some amazing Missouri trails, Krauss is the place to do it. Amazing time-capsule of the western St. Louis countryside before it became all highways and Hardees. ;)

I take lessons at Kraus and they have such amazing staff and instructors. They care for the horses and keep everyone safe around the horses but everyone is still able to have fun! I have been taking lessons here for 2 years and I plan to keep riding at Kraus. I highly recommend taking a trail or having a birthday party here as well!

Awesome place! My mom and I came for a trail ride and our guide was Sarah! She was great, super knowledgeable and fun! Horses were kind and gentle and trail terrain was fun - nothing over the top but not flat and boring!

Took my 9yo niece to ride for the first time and the experience could not have been better. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the horses are obviously well cared for. The trail ride was beautiful and not at all what you might expect for brand new riders. Well worth the money.

Hi Kourtney and thank you for reaching out to Kraus Farms. We do offer a volunteer program to our lesson students that would like to obtain more experience with horses. I hope that answers your question. If not, please feel to contact us at 636-225-9513.
I'm just a lover of horses and I go just to watch, pet, kiss on them... I would call their business phone number and ask your questions. I doubt anyone younger than 18 years old can work or volunteer there.
We do take volunteers for summer camp (May-August). Please call our office for more information. 636-225-9513

I took my 9yo niece who had never been on horse back last summer and it was great. The trail is beautiful with nothing too advanced, but not at all boring. The staff are really good at setting nervous riders at ease. I think we paid $125 or so for both of us fir an hour ride, but that may have changed.
Yes, they have guided trail rides. I took my (then) 9 year old niece and she loved it. First time on horseback for her.
No they do not, but they do offer smaller scale parties like for birthdays
