Very successful company. However, there are severe degrees of nepotism, which makes it very difficult for new drivers to reach the production needed to excel both within the company and in their own personal finances. It is basically commission-based job supported by "exceptions", which keeps them in a w2 category vs 1099. The drivers are paid for their loads, mileage, and their wait time if the customer exceeds the agreed time slot for a particular load. They constantly shuffle through a revolving door of load planners and dispatchers which can be somewhat understandable with today's market however, the experienced supporting staff (load planners and dispatchers,) leave the new team members to fend for themselves directly out of training with no supervision. This leads to poorly executed routes/ production distribution, disorganization, and lack of urgency. If someone with expertise happens to be planning during a "drought" (while production is slow), they solely pass the "good loads" to their friends- leaving the crumbs of desperation to the new/under-connected drivers. If a person notates about the operations or makes suggestions to improve processes, they are retaliated against through their load plans and therefor directly affected through their production (aka their MONEY). It makes the job very difficult for new employees; from dispatching to driving. There are ways to become quite successful here- IF you already know someone. The new potential (dispatchers and drivers) are under-appreciated, which would explain such a high turnover rate.

Been a driver 3 years. Im pretty comfortable here. Folks are nice. I go to the drop yard off Lassen frequently. I'm curious why it's not a location I can tag on Facebook. Can someone get that established, please? Thanks. :-)
