I can't emphasize enough the great service I have received from Direct Legal Support and their team. First of all, I used other Process Servers in California but their level of professionalism can not compare to what Direct Legal Support offers. The last Process Servers Office I used, was trying to make romantic advances via electronic mail during the time that they should be servicing our order. We needed their services again, but I felt uncomfortable so I went to Google and searched for Process Servers near Los Angeles and Direct Legal Support was the first to pop up so I gave them a call. The Representative explained how to submit my order while being very professional. I proceeded to go to their website to create an account and submit my request for service. It was simple and you can log in to check the status yourself whenever you like. While waiting for my affidavit of service I called there office asking where it may be, and again they explained the process with ease and patience. Direct Legal Support and their staff offers exactly what people and companies need. Respectful and Professionalism! I am very impressed and will be a repeat customer.

I cannot say enough about the services provided by Direct Legal Services, especially the Writ Department's Michael and Devin, who each went above and beyond to make sure that documents were properly filed, served, and documented. I will definitely be using this service in the future because their actions have demonstrated they are reliable, efficient, professional, and dedicated to their clients. I highly recommend this service to anyone in need of direct legal services. Thank you both so much!!

Getting someone to help you is like pulling teeth. I'm in a law office out of state and called to see about having the proper documents filed and served along with a subpoena for an appearance at a hearing via Zoom. I was told I needed to speak to someone else and then was transferred to her voicemail. I left a detailed message and said that the situation was time-sensitive. A day and a half later I still haven't received a call back. I called again and was told that the person I needed just had her covid shot a few days ago (if you are going to have someone out for a medical reason you need to have that person's position covered so that business can continue) and maybe that's why she hadn't responded. I was placed on hold for over 4 minutes. Then a different person came on the line to ask me if I've been helped so, not only did the first person not care about customer service to come back and let me know that he was unable to reach the person I keep being told I need to speak with, they obviously do not want business from law firms in other states. I will edit this review and perhaps change the rating if I ever get a call back from them.

Michael and his team of skip trace professionals and Process servers were able to find our guy and serve my legal documents the same day and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. Maria was amazing at communicating status to my office and whenever my assistant had a question, it was answered immediately in a professional and detailed manner. If you’re in need of a process server in Los Angeles, this is the place to call. Thank you guys for being an extension of my legal team and getting this done for us! ~ Michael Reid

Questions & Answers

I am looking for a person who moved from Palm Desert to Los Angeles. I need to serve him with court papers but don't know what the process is in doing so. What is involved, what information do you need from me and what is the cost?

Pamela - You need a "skip trace" performed to locate the subject and if the subject is located afterwards, you would need to have the subject served. Here is the following cost information: Routine skip-trace search fee is $199.50 per person based on defendant's last known address and information provided. If the subject cannot be located, based on the information provided; we can prepare a declaration of search for an additional fee. Service of process is extra depending on location subject is located, but our base fee starts at $79.50 and up. We will make a diligent effort to locate subject though many sources including public and private indicators, but make no guarantees on final results.
