The Wyndam is now the Crown Pointe by Choice. Evidently the new owner's don't think this is is a big deal, they have not notified Expedia or the other discount travel sites. The hotel is being remodeled, slowly, and has the usual confusion of building. The Good. The staff is excellent, the lobby is attractive, the room air conditioner worked well and the breakfast was the best post-pandemic we have had. The Bad the hall air conditioners sounded like they were dying of consumption, the bedside light didn't work, the rug was badly stained. internet was poky slow with constant buffering and the garden was dirt beds and a few magnolias by the highway. There were more problems, but the idea is clear. The new owner's need to get organized and fix things.

Came here for a short time away with my fiancee. Tony Cancemi is the manager there and his level of professionalism and customer service was astounding to say the least. We came back for a second visit and he remembered us and welcomed us like we were family. His staff are very friendly and helpful as well. This has become our go to local getaway. ❤️

Found a lot of issues in our rooms, the stairwell smells like mold and urine. You can tell this place was amazing at one point but has lacked the money or time for proper maintenance. I won't pay this much again. Also beware of the pool my wife cut her toe merely walking up the stairs. Other than that great location, very close to everything you need.

Second time we have stayed here. There was bags of trash outside the elevator when you get off on each floor. It is pet friendly, we listened to a dog bark all night both stays. Floors are dirty and stained. Bathrooms are dated and poorly maintained. I stood in 6” of water while I showered because it drained so slow. Television is mediocre and rooms have trash in the floor under the edge of the bed and nightstand from lack of cleaning. The first time we stayed, we was asked to knock first and make sure they hadn’t double booked the room. We will not be back. It even looks like they have tried to re-stuff the tissue box in the bathroom with unused tissues. And just an FYI if you decide to stay here, check the wash cloths for “hair” before you use them.
