Friendly environment. My questions were answered fully and without judgment (I am not a computer guy!). Fix was done quick and communicated well. Price was solid. Definitely a go to spot when I need help again.

These guys are great. They troubleshooted my computer in around 10 minutes and said it was just a bad cable and fixed some bootup settings. $30 for new cords and adapters and I’m golden. I have found my new computer guy.

was cut a great deal on a Toughbook and some repairs to my old dell latitude e6420. currently typing this review on the repaired machine which is now able to hold a charge AND has a working screen again, and have been having a wonderful time setting up my new machine. top notch customer service and a highly knowledgeable staff. Will be visiting again soon to see about some of those gadgets that caught my eye.

I’m so glad a friend recommended Affordable Computers! They fixed my laptop quickly, were super friendly, and actually took the time to tell me *why* they were making certain repairs. My laptop is better than new now, at a fraction of the cost of buying a new one.

I'm sorry, I do not know how. Our Affordable Computers facebook account has been hacked a year or so ago! I never really use it, so I never tried to fix it. It's not easy to get facebook on the phone! They do that on purpose. If you find out a phone number to call, or email that ACTUALLY works to get you back on, let me know so I can gain access to my business facebook account as well! Thanks!
I'm sorry, we do not. Legal reasons
That fixes about 50% of all computer problems world wide! So... YES!
Lucas, you can't go wrong going there, they fixed up my rig same day (the day before Thanksgiving even!) with great service.
If you buy all the parts online, just make sure you do not open them, and you can then bring them to our shop and have us build it, plus install windows, all drivers, and updates all for our $99 flat rate labor charge. (you supply the parts and windows license) We do not offer a build your pc at your house service. Thank you
We require masks, 6 feet distance between people, and a max of only 6 total people in my small shop. We have 3 employees, so that means only 3 total customers at any given time. We are however a little known shop, 10 customers a day at most, so rarely in the past year have people had to wait more than 2 to 3 min at most. Also, we now meet customers at the door, often with the door open for more fresh air , and to make the customer feel safer, they usually stand just outside the open door and we ask "How may we help you?" If you are looking to purchase a new PC , laptop or part, you may come inside and browse. If you need to just drop off a broken laptop, most people just set down their machine and pickup the check in sheet, and never need to enter. Just doing our best to make people comfortable.
Yes we do! That would fall under our $99 flat rate repair. Thank you
No, a PCI-E 8 pin cable should only be purchased from the power supply manufacturer. That is assuming you have a modular power supply and have lost the cables it came with. If you have a lower wattage power supply that does not have an 8 PIN, then you should get a new power supply, and not get an adapter that takes two old molex cables and gives you an 8 PIN, this is an easy way to blow the power supply and or video card, and or motherboard. I do sell 8-PIN extension cables if that is what you are looking for. I also sell power supplies that have 8 PIN cables. $99 for a 600W Gold Thermaltake power supply.
Sounds like you need a PC upgrade maybe to support zoom background? I'm a little confused about your question, but you can call or drop by and we can help better. I have my entry level gaming PC for $799 that has a great video card and i3 processor. I also have a used Dell desktop for only $249 that has the i5 processor, so it SHOULD work based on what you said. Also, I have a new laptop with a Ryzen 3 for $479 that I'm sure can handle all zoom options
Yes I do! - However, you should know that you can buy a USB DVD DRIVE from my shop, or amazon for around $35. This device allows you to plug a dvd / cd burner into any computer with a usb cable (included). This will let you buy any laptop you want, and easily plug in a dvd drive, instead of buying a laptop just because it has a cd drive. Thanks for the question!
I'm sorry, we do not. I don't know who that Joseph Matheny is who is pretending to be an employee. Amazon or ebay should have mouse skates. Thank you.
Hes a super nice guy. He might, but he wont be offended if you ask.
The last computer Jesse helped me with was my own custom build. He seems flexible in terms of whether the customer needs assistance sourcing parts or using ones provided by the customer. He bills very fairly between part prices and labor.
No, AC DOES NOT BUY used anything.
