I always prefer to fly Aeromexico to Mexico. The staff are pleasant, courteous and efficient. The seat-pitch (legroom) seems greater to me, even for the economy-standard fare option seats, adding up to a good value. And the auténtico Mexican ambiance makes for an all-around great experience.

Our roundtrip flight to Mexico was cancelled (each way) each on the night prior to our flight causing stress and leaving us struggling to find another flight. Customer service was helpful on finding another flight to Mexico. However, when our flight got cancelled to come back home we called customer service hoping to get on the next flight home and they wouldn't book our flight unless we paid full price, over $700 US dollars, for the flight although our initial flight was already paid for. We had to make our way to the airport to get a flight, extremely inconvenient. They try to scam you before helping you, what a shame!

While this airline is partially owned by Delta their website is one of the worst if you are not able to read Spanish. Simple example is using the password reset or recover feature. It instantly reverts your page to Spanish and if you click on English it dumps you out of the option to reset thus there IS NOT RESET for English speakers. On top of that you are emailed a HTML page in Spanish with options that are more confusing than helpful. Calling the customer support you get a barely English speaker whose English is so poor you can't understand them. It's been a nightmare to use for a decade.

Unprofessional! The constant lying that we would make it to our flight on 4/1/2022 from Cancun to Mexico City, and then missing our connecting flight from Mexico City to Tijuana. Then laughing at our face because we were upset of the lies we were told that they would hold our flight home. First time and NEVER again flying with you guys! Good riddance. Volaris is so much better of an airline.

Look at your ticket the luggage that is included in the price I think it is only for your carry-on bag and does not take up registration, it can be stored in the compartments above your seat. It has certain measures. If you want to carry more things you can do it only that they charge you for the weight of your luggage and you have to register them. Remember to be 2 hours before your flight to check your bags or check with Aeromexico. Good trip.
If they change it, but you will have to pay another ticket, if you find it available on the date you are looking for, it is a lost case, it has already happened to me. Good luck.
