FORGET ALL ABOUT FLYING AMERICAN AIRLINES. Worst customer service ever. Long haul flight, 2 persons, same PNR number but not seated together. But loads af free seats, if we would PAY extra to sit together. DISGUSTING.

Customer service on the phone is atrocious, even with a human. After waiting for hours for the callback, the agent spent maybe 5 minutes speaking to me, was rude and uninterested in learning about the situation. She then put me on hold again and never picked up. The airline then charged a $14 fee for that awful interaction.

So I spend a little bit more and I opted for the business first on a Triple 7 300er non-stop from Miami to LAX. Worth every single penny. Again American Airlines totally rocked it out of the park. Made me so comfortable feeling special and appreciate it. Thank you to the wonderful employees of American Airlines. Mark

Polite and helpful staff but they need more knowledge of their systems. I was picking my dog up, they said the dog never made the flight and someone else had to investigate and make calls to figure out that my dog was at pps instead next to baggage claim in the terminal.
