Stephana is one of those people that can tell what's bothering you by just watching the way you walk. She has an incredible talent and has been extremely helpful to me with regards to recovery and flexibility.

Stephana is a great coach and teacher. I've exceeded my expectations for this class. She has helped teach me to correct a posture and knee issue I've had for decades and inspired me to continue learning beyond her class. She teaches very accessible to any level of fitness. Her classes are like physical and mental therapy in the very best way. Highly recommend!

This review is a bit different from the other ones for Stephana's Yogilachi training. I had a serendipitous and profound experience where she helped me open and connect with my Akashic Records. Stephana is highly in tune with the spiritual realm and intuition. I have a lot of experience working with those in the "new age" and metaphysical community and I tend to be skeptical of everyone at first since it's an easy field for people to take advantage of those seeking guidance or healing. After hearing some highly specific details about me, my journey, and my process I feel that Stephana is genuine, has pure intent, and is, indeed, able to connect to spiritual realms. It's been over a month since my session with Stephana and I have revisited the recording of it serval times only to get further insight into the messages that came through her. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity and found the experience deeply moving and enlightening. There is no doubt in me that Stephana brings this same genuine presence and soul of service to all her endeavors in life including Yogilachi. These characteristics are the hallmarks of someone you want to work with in order to get clear about your goals and then help you achieve them.

I can’t recommend Stephana highly enough! Her careful, experienced approach to working with YOUR body is so unique and so beautiful that you can’t help but be a changed person after working with her. I’ve learned so much about my own body through her teachings and I continue to learn each time I’m with her. This is EXACTLY the type of exercise I need to be doing to stay strong, flexible and fit…my biggest goals. Working with Stephana will make you BETTER at any other type of exercise or activity that’s important to you in your daily life.

Do you do private yoga lessons?

Hi! Thanks for your question. Yes! While we do small group classes and semi-private training, we specialize in working 1:1. Our private training can be done in our Camas studio, Vancouver location as well as in home training for our clients. We specialize in corrective movement and a holistic approach and believe taking the time to do a thorough assessments allows us to much better help each of our clients. What are corrective exercises?

Great question!! I'll give you a short and a long answer. The short answer is this - you know when you've been sitting at your desk all day and you get up and you are stiff, hurt in various places, then do this day after day? Well this is how imbalances occur that lead to chronic pain and can even lead to injury when doing basic everyday things. Another example, take a weight lifter who can press 200 pounds, but pulls their back out getting a 50 pound suitcase off the conveyer belt and blows their vacation in Hawaii. Corrective exercise and correct movement patterns understood and practiced by all folks prevent and help address chronic pain and injury - because you know how to correctly move your body and use your body correctly not just in session but where ever you are - whatever you are doing. Yogilachi specializes in postural and mobility and use components of yoga, Pilates, tai chi and a bit of calisthenics to help our clients move correctly in everything they do. Hope that helps!
