Not the first to say it: they have an incredible selection of hard to find/impossible to find bourbon but it is not cheap. There are places in town that have Blantons and what not for way less per pour, however is a great ambiance and a really cool bar in the old Stanley.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Stanley for our last night of vacation in CO. We popped into the Whiskey Bar for a drink before our dinner reservation and really enjoyed the cocktails and service provided by our bartender, Bill. We honestly liked Bill and the bar area so much that we changed our reservation from the dining room (which had great ambiance) to the bar. My girlfriend enjoyed some great cocktails, and I had a whiskey flight that Bill selected for me. He was spot on with his selections and provided a lot of knowledge about each one. He picked out some scotch for me to try as well, and was again spot on. Highly recommend stopping in as the ambiance, drinks, food, and service were all great!

We had delicious signature cocktails and spinach artichoke dip inside the restaurant and bar at The Stanley Hotel. It was neat to see all the notable individuals and celebrities that have either filmed (on site) or stayed at the hotel as guests. The bar seating area walls were filled with pictures and memories from when the property first opened to present day. The staff offered very friendly service as well during our visit. Thank you!

Unbeatable atmosphere, fancy (yet pricey) drinks, food was delicious. Best pork belly we have ever had! Our waiter was very odd and rarely spoke but maybe that is part of the whole esthetic.
