We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Estes park resort. This place deserves a 5 stars because of the view! We stayed in a lower level king room which had a walkout to the lake! The room itself is very outdated, TV is old, and sink was falling down. However the front desk staff was helpful, view can't be beat, and we had a good night sleep so overall giving it a 5 stars.

TL;DR: Overall great experience, but rooms were a little pricey. First off, that shower, so wonderful. After a day of RMNP and being sun screened, bug sprayed, and super sweaty that shower is wonderful. The view from the lake was fantastic! Other than that things were pretty standard.

Beautiful resort on the beautiful Lake Estes. Amazing views, great location. The front desk people were so friendly and helpful. The Dunraven serves amazing food and the servers were so friendly. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the rooms were dated. There were stains on the couch and padded table thing (??). A quick facelift of rooms would take it all the way to 5 stars without question. I loved it here, and I will visit again.

Staff is lovely but everything else was pretty bad. We booked months in advance and we still got one of the worst rooms. Our balcony was right next to the front entrance, so if we wanted to use it at all we would be greeting people at the door basically. No amenities like complimentary breakfast or hot tub. But I thought we would at least get a nicer room for booking so much in advance. Definitely not worth the price.
