We’ve been going to OutBack for years. It was my first time going to the one in Chatsworth. It was just horrible!!! We ordered two bone-in Ribeye Steak and got one instead. They literally cut one steak in half and brought it as two. As you can see in the photo. And I’ve been eating steak my whole life.

To start with, our server was delightful, and incredibly helpful, even though it was a busy Friday evening. When he went on a break, though, the girl who covered for him was nice, but not as good a server, especially when she messed up the bills. That was confusing, and embarrassing. Both my brother and my father were charged for my brother's bill. It was a really stupid mistake. Regardless, though, the food was perfect, as it always is when we've gone there. We would definitely return.

The service was slower and I didn’t feel I was at the Outback I remembered. I used to enjoy a steak and the price was cheaper than a steak house. This time my steak was tough. We were a party of 4 and not satisfied. I used to love the seasoning on the steak. It was bland. I asked for horseradish and was asked if I wanted plain for creamy. I asked for plain. After I was halfway through my meal and still no horseradish insight I decided to ask where it was. They ended up bringing creamy. At that point I didn’t want to make a disruption at our table and just ate it.

I thought that this place was great. Although I’m no steak expert and don’t have it often, I can recognize good food when I taste it. This was good food. The steak was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. The mashed potatoes were some of the best I’ve had from a chain restaurant and the rice was pretty good (could be better though). Overall, it was a great experience. The waiter was nice and I would definitely come her again. 4/5 stars
