I highly recommend Brookdale! My mom is 91 years old and had her elbow reconstructed. She was at another skilled nursing facility which was horrific. I could not tolerate the place where she was at! I quickly search and found Brookdale literally in my area. Eden (administrator for skilled nursing) admitted her promptly. Cheryl the social worker was top of her game. Anna the nurse and Lee the nurse were wonderful! There are so many people who I do not know their names but there are a blessing! The facility is clean, sterilized and the food was superb. Brookdale is caring and loving place. I highly recommend Brookdale!!!

If I could give a zero star review I would. If you are only looking for aesthetics then, you will be OK with this facility. However, if you are looking for a caring place for your love ones then, you should take a second look at this place. We had experience's with both the assisted living for over three years and the skill nursing my husband, which he had to be placed in after his hospitalization. After my complaint to their corporate office regarding his treatment in assisted living, Brookdale skilled nursing claimed he had made enough progress to be discharged. I found a new facility for him. The new facility did their evaluation and found he had not made the progress stated by Brookdale's head therapist. The new facility is older, yet clean with lots of caring staff around the clock. The cost is somewhat similar however, the care is worlds apart for the better.

Recently I was put in a position new to me. My mom had fallen and broken her arm, and had spent 3 very sedentary weeks hospitalized. She was very weak and in need of skilled nursing. To say the least, mom was none too happy about the idea of being away from home, and was very skeptical we'd find a place acceptable to her and her extremely particular standards for care and cleanliness. Brookdale Northridge, and especially the skilled nursing staff there, came through for us just when I was beginning to think I'd not find a solution in time. I'll tell you honestly...it is not that this place is near perfect in all ways. I doubt any senior care facility is. But what they are blessed with is a truly fantastic staff! Over a period of nine weeks I can't even count how many times these gifted people went out of their way (far beyond what I expected) to help my mom recover. Amor, the social services director, spent SO much time with my mom that I sort of ask myself how she got any work done those 9 weeks because we took kept her so busy. But I sure appreciate it. Physical therapy staff were great. So often they'd have to really try hard to get mom going but they never gave up. They are good at their work but beyond that they are wonderful, caring people. The floor nurses and support staff were equally amazing. My mom was a challenge for them, to say the least, but they always seemed to be able to kick their care up another level when needed. I guess what I'm trying to say is this: you can find professional care staff at lots of senior living places but It'd be very tough to find better people. Combine that with the fact that the facilities are worlds cleaner and nicer than any of the other 4 or 5 other care places we looked at and you begin to see how Brookdale not only won me over, but even more significantly, made my mom's long stay both possible and productive. Hope I don't need to, but I'd not hesitate to bring a family member here again. Thanks.

I really like what this senior community has to offer. First off as you walk in you really feel an at home warm environment, the layout and design of the place is beautiful. Second, the staff is amazing. From the people like (Julia, Nimisha, Gabriel, and Kristis) coordinating your love ones arrival and stay with Brookdale, the nurses who are the ones making sure they are well taken care off, the physical therapy rehab center they have set up here is will ensure speedy recovery, down to the house keeping. Everyone is very warm welcoming and very professional. I work for Star World Home Health agency which some of our patients go here or come from here. The staff and environment is great here. The communication with everyone is very important for the patients well being and Brookdale does an amazing job with this. From the start of care to the end of the patient's care till they go home. We really like working with Brookdale, the transition is really smooth and straight forward ensuring the main goal and purpose is all about patient care. Thank you for always being an outstanding and exceptional senior living community.
