One of my favorite parks and wow what a blessing to live so close to it! It's HUGE!! You can't easily get bored coming here because there's so many different routes to take! Been coming here for years now. There are at least 3 playgrounds here, clean bathrooms, lots of nature and different types of beautiful bird and wildlife here to enjoy. There's even a big baseball field, basketball courts and other recreational activities.

I love jogging here and bringing my family to this park. For the most part, I feel safe, and the other joggers I pass are friendly and polite. I only came across one visitor wearing racist pins, hats, and clothing. But he kept to himself. Near the entrance, a mentally ill homeless person yelled obscenities at me. But, baby geese, ducks, herons, and egrets!

Mon-Fri parking cost $3 and $5 on Sat and Sun. This park is huge. From what I saw, they had a baseball field, a kids playground and a lake for fishing. Unfortunately it was a cold day so I didn't venture the park, except for what was close. I would recommend this for kids, adults, and the elderly.

The park was serene and beautiful. Loved the ducks in the pond. Just be careful while walking not to step on bird mess there is a lot. Otherwise the park is great. The walking trail is nice.

When you pull in to the park at the guard shack you go straight and you're gonna make a right and follow that road and It will take you to shelter number 2 which is not far down on the right.
Even on weekends there is always parking on the street outside the entrance. If you have the money, support the park and park inside.
Aa far as i know its open every day of the year! And its free after 4:00 other than that u must pay 10 dollars per vehicle
We reserved it 2+ months in advance.
Call the park and ask
Rainbow Trout, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Crappie, Catfish and Carp.
$30 for an event if i remember correctly
Yes, when you go in the entrance at Craig Regional Park, you will pay for $3.00 parking on Monday to Friday.
Yes
Yes, there is Catfish. However, if you're fishing to cook and eat them, I dont suggest you fish there. Fishing for fun just to catch and release would be the place for this. Fishing for dining would be a Fishing Park such as Anaheim/Santa Ana Lakes, not a heavy polluted muddy Park. Good Luck
Reentry fee is required
Wair ever you want
You are allowed to fish and it's not catch and release however we have spent 10 hours and never caught anything lol
Bring your own, they only have picnic tables with benches
Yes
Use of vendors or contract services (e.g., bounce house rentals, caterers, etc.) in the park requires an OC Parks Permit. Please contact the OC Parks Permit Unit at (866) 627-2757
@Julie Cortes Reyes, 15 and under do not need a license to fish. If a person is 16 years or older they are required to have a fishing license. If the person fishing only plans to fish fresh water, the salt water purchase is not necessary. But if they plan to use more than one fishing rod they will have to pay for the use. Some places only allow one rod in the water at a time other lakes may allow more than one with the purchase of the sticker for it. There are fish in Craig Regional Park, however they only have Catfish and Carp if I recall correctly. Unfortunately, no bass within this lake.
Yes you can fish at Craig Regional Park, the species of fish there are catfish and carp, unfortunately no bass, possibly bluegill. Any angler age 16 or older must buy a CA sportfishing license. This applies to state residents (anyone who has been living in CA continuously for six months or more) and non-residents. Licenses for residents and non-residents are sold separately.
There's no bike trails, but if you don't mind using the road pavement the cars use because the entrance starts at the top of the hill and semi-spirals down to the lower end of the park. The best way to view it will be to googlemap streetview. Hope this helps!
2 miles
Yes there is a parking fee of 3.00$ because Craig Regional Park is owned and operated by OC Parks
The park is Hugh, I don't think you can reserve the whole park. But you should call and tell them what you need, they can help you.
It's a very big park, over 100 acres, with lots to do; like hiking, biking, picnicking, playgrounds and a lake.
I don't know. I only saw some wild guppies there. They're only 1 inch.
Yes. Park Hours Change Starting Nov. 5 The clocks fall back early Nov. 5, marking the end of daylight saving time and OC Parks’ spring-summer operating schedule. Most regional parks close at 6 p.m. for the fall and winter, and wilderness parks close at sunset.
My experience is that there is an entry fee for parking within the park if you enter the main entrance/gate. However there is some parking available on the street for free (State College). Check parking signs on street for any additional restrictions.
If you're going to call for reservation, be sure to confirm if it has outlets
