Great park for stair climbing! An excellent way to get a workout in a finite amount of time.

I love this park and has a beautiful walk 🚶♂️ trail, it's clean and looks like very safe. I had fun watching all the termites coming out from underground in search of their new home ( near residents lol) saw thousands flying all over the place lol. If you're not afraid or bothered by insects this is a place to have a refreshing morning while enjoying the fresh air.

Super big park. Beautiful landscape with fountain off Harbor Blvd. Rolling hills, multiple playgrounds for the kids. Great trails. Steps are a killer. Lots of Families enjoying park. Plenty of parking but fills up early on busy summer day.

A good workout park! I like the fact that it is a natural area city park, with trails, trees, view spots and beautifully landscaped picnic spots. There’s lot’s of trash bins and restrooms. It’s up on a hill, so any amount of adventuring here may take some effort to navigate on foot! While picnic and playground areas may be accessible to everyone from the streets and parking lots, the uphill climbs to the ‘crest are not for the faint of heart! Also, perhaps since it’s near Fullerton College, the west side of the park can be a bit overrun with students working out, traversing the pathways and the steps to and from Lyons Field. So while this park may seem to be a convenient, secluded ‘oasis’ from the urban world (like literally and figuratively, as there’s an underground reservoir here!)...expect to see people at every turn!

Yes theres a swing set, there's actually 2 playgrounds at the park. No sure if they playgrounds will get an upgrade
Yes is next to the parking lot and close the practice for base ball
I have found so many mercury dimes in that park , I nicked named it mercury dime park detect way inside the old bushes and the least traveled footpaths. the harder it is to reach a spot the better chance of finding the older coins . That park has been hammered and rehammered . by detecting the harder spots you will trade finding alot of newer coins for a few older coins . check along the base of the old rock and stone walls . good luck.
