Bastanchury Park

A picturesque community park with a playground, picnic tables, trash containers and restrooms available. A variety of sports may be played here, including basketball, baseball, softball and soccer. I’ve seen lots of dog walking here, especially in the fence enclosed area used for baseball, of course when nobody’s playing. Otherwise, players will appreciate the considerate use of this space, with owners picking up after their pets!

Very nice park overall. The entry is off Bastanchury blvd. with plenty of parking to the right, where the North ball field is, or to the left. The basketball courts, children’s play area, the South ball field and soccer field are on this side. In the middle are the restrooms. The grass on the soccer as well as the ball field is very well maintained and full. Great for family time, running the dog, evening walk. There is a path that can be walked around the entire park. It is a nice clean and relaxing place to take a minute and enjoy some outdoor greasy air and sunshine.

I have gone here for years. It's a nice place and all but this one swing is rendered completely useless because of the bank it's under. No one uses the left swing. No one CAN use the left swing. All I want is to swing next to my good friends. But my legs always hit this bank. Please for the love of everything that is holy, fix this.

Park feels secluded even when people are there. Nice place for some peace and quiet on some days. The circumference is track to run or walk. I also like to steer off into the out of service railroad tracks, there are paths with trees everywhere
