I wouldn’t even give it one star! I caught a coach roach climbing into my open can! Upon further examination, we started finding chips everywhere, that we did not eat.... which means that the rooms aren’t being cleaned properly. The sheets had this miserably awful oil feel, and we actually went and bought sheets to put over theirs. The night staff was super quick and helpful as far as our refund and helping us get our stuff out, but that was the only highlight.

**** please see addendum at bottom****Bedbugs!!! Plus they have a "deposit" that isn't mentioned when you book a room. Supposedly it is $50, but they charged almost $90 onto my card. I still have yet to receive a refund. ******addendum****** After making the manager? Aware of the situation, she was very nice & apologetic. She moved me to another room. The overcharges were returned in full to my card. After 2.5 days. My original review of 1☆ has been updated to 3☆. I will definitely give them another chance.

Could be a nice hotel. The design of this hotel is actually quite fun and different but being a guest is a different story. When checking in we got into our room and there was used dirty towels everywhere and there was something in toilet and a pair of black socks in the floor. So we got a dirty uncleaned room. It smelled like musty smoke. The breakfast bar was minimal and they didnt even have the big containers of coffee. This could be a good hotel if it was taken care of since the look is so cool. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The only thing they did right was give us a room on the bottom floor as we asked .

This is a classic hotel. It was here when I attended college here in '90 and was popular then for it's unique rooms. It still is kept up quite well. It's nice to stay at a place with character, rather than cookie cutter. We stayed here as a family a few years back with my older kids. They loved it. I was worried when we entered the pool area as it seemed cold, but thankfully the pool was nice and warm. It would've been nicer if the room it was in was also warm though. No hot tub, but the pool was warm enough. The front desk was great, we were staying here last minute for a hospital appointment and when he heard that my 6yr old wanted to swim, he put us in a room right by the pool entrance! Room was clean and nice and spacious, albeit dated, but I expected that. My daughter wanted to stay at the "castle hotel" so that's why we were here. She was thrilled. The price is good for what you get.
