One star due to the good breakfast they serve. Negative reviews are spot on. If you do stay, be sure to ask about room cleaning. It's by request only. We were there for three nights for a wedding and checked in on a Friday. I went down Saturday afternoon to ask about cleaning, since the cleaning staff had been on my floor and passed us by. Got the "request only" response. I asked the big guy on the desk to have it cleaned Sunday. Said he would put us on the list. Since he was watching TV at the time, I made sure to double check with the young lady on the desk Sunday morning. Not on the list. She wrote it down while I stood there. Cleaning crew was on my floor twice that day. I went down at 4pm and asked the big guy what happened. He said they leave us "stay overs" until last. 7:30 that night I went down to the desk to get towels as ours were on the floor. Trash overflowing, barely a sliver of soap left. Other problems: Golf Channel spent more time with "no signal" than it did on the air; internet is spotty at best; sticky drawers and the cabinet door covering the fridge never would close. Hallway carpets look like they are still dirty from the winter guests. Clean on the edges and black in the footpath. We visit our daughter often and stay in a great Hampton Inn on Sturgis. Only here for the wedding and definitely won't be back.

Positive: Was there for a class, was nice to have it in same place as staying the night :) The employees were nice. Beds were very comfortable, room was spacious. Breakfast was good! Was glad there was a restaurant next door. Negative: Hotel needs a little updating, you can tell that they try but it¿s starting to get run down. Doesn¿t look like pictures per say. Was sad the hot tub wasn¿t available/working :(

The pictures are way better than it actually is. The bed in our room had deep imprints that you could see where 2 bodies laid. The pillows had absolutely no support. In the shower there was a little mold in the ceiling and part of the wall behind the toilet was broken and peeling up. The hot tub was not working but the pool was warm. The front desk staff was super nice. Over all it was just a little too run down for me and needs lots of updates. I paid around $100 and there were nicer hotels for the same price. Breakfast was just ok and a bit of a walk and a little difficult to find.
