Had an amazing experience here! I moved here from the East Coast and had to find a new stylist, I’m super picky so I read so many reviews and looked at so many places and decided to go with Rinse. I was able to get an appointment for a cut and balayage pretty quick. Monica did the cut and Sam did the color and I am so happy with the end result! I have long, thick, brownish hair, I showed them a few photos and got exactly what I wanted. :)

I came here in hopes of making my dirty blonde hair a warm medium brown with some dimension. After meeting my stylist Monika, we agreed on a photo similar to the one I posted. During this time I made it clear that I did not want any blonde in my hair. I also did not mention red at any point. Fast forward to after toning and drying and I looked in the mirror to see bright red roots on top of my head. I immediately asked if this would go away to which she replied, “it should go away after 1 wash.” Needless to say even after 3 washes this did not go away. The next day I saw my hair in the natural light and was horrified to find an orange/blonde head with dark, glowing red roots. Somehow underneath my hair was dark brown so I had about 4 different colors going on. Not only was it 4 different colors but I had a large amount of damage and pieces breaking off from the bleach and heat for the foils. I called the salon and spoke with the manager and she insisted that toner would fix the problem. She offered for me to come in and have Monika tone it but I declined, as I had no trust for her anymore and do not feel comfortable with her touching my hair after the amount of damage done and entire experience. I asked for a refund at this time which was never followed up on after multiple phone calls. She also said that in my consultation I asked for “copper”. If you want to call the dimension in the photo I showed copper, sure then that’s what I wanted. I never once said “please make my hair copper.” After 3 consultations with other hair professionals, they all agreed toner alone would not fix this issue, as the Rinse insisted multiple times. I needed to have my entire head dyed darker to cover up the red roots to avoid the process and cost of a color correction. Im extremely frustrated at the way this has been handled, especially with no contact from the owners in this entire situation. Hopefully this saves someone else from being out $400 and the terrible experience I had.

I had a great experience getting my first haircut at Rinse yesterday. I was scheduled for 2 pm and arrived right on time. The greeting at the front was very friendly and welcoming. I was asked to take a seat for about one and a half minutes before my stylist, Chelcie, brought me back. She was great at asking me about and understanding what kind of cut I was there to get. I enjoyed the conversation we had while she did the cutting. After the cut was done she asked what I thought and touched up the areas that I wanted slightly more hair taken off. She washed my hair and styled it to look great before I went on my way a happy customer. Paying and tipping was smooth and easy at the front desk where they offered to schedule my next visit or wait and see how the cut grows out so I can schedule when I know that another cut is needed. Will definitely be going back to see Chelcie again and strongly recommend Rinse to any other guys who want a really nice experience and a great haircut!
