Although I have never belonged to a gym, I am thrilled with my Chuze experience. Gyms were intimidating places in my mind, but that is definitely not the case here. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful, happy to guide me through using the equipment or answering my questions, and on top of cleaning and maintainence of the facility. Example: the clock in one area had stopped working. I mentioned this to the front desk late one afternoon. At my workout the next morning, they were replacing the battery. Every time I'm in, they are cleaning/restocking something, and I have never seen a piece of equipment out of commission. Excellent first time gym experience.

WARNING! (((Public Health Threat))) I deeply appreciate this Gym and their facilities have served me greatly over the years, but they do not have a fragrance free policy... And considering the data that is available today surrounding the toxicity of "artificial fragrances", I feel guided to bring awareness to this. The fragrance industry governs themselves and is greenlighting the use of chemicals that are already BANNED, RESTRICTED or deemed HAZARDOUS by many reputable authoritative bodies and government agencies around the world. Therefore, the the use of ANY product with the word "fragrance" in its list of ingredients is not only irresponsible and unpleasant to many, but also well documented as being harmful to our health. The average artificially scented product, be it lotion, hand sanitizer or laundry detergent, contains 100-300 synthetic compounds to create that fragrance. This is known as a CHEMICAL COCKTAIL. You and your family are unknowingly breathing and putting these chemicals on your skin everyday while going out to eat, going shopping, at the gym and at home. The unregulated use of artificial fragrances in homes and public spaces has reached the level of being a "Public Health Threat", similar to what happened with cigarette smoke 20 years ago. Chuze Fitness exists for one reason, to be in service to the well-being of the community. And by allowing clients to be exposed to definitively toxic chemical fumes, especially while exercising, they are directly not standing up for the well-being of the community. I just recently had my gym membership canceled from throwing away air fresheners that they had put around the toilets in the bathroom. I get a headache within minutes of being exposed to strong chemical fragrances like air fresheners and I was taking care of myself to make sure I could use the bathroom without getting sick. I brought this up and they were not willing to make an adjustment for my health, which I completely understand. It's a big change to make. Exercise at your own risk and please educate yourself about the toxicity and side effects of artificial fragrances. This is not just bothersome or simply a personal preference, products containing "fragrance", such as household laundry and cleaning supplies, are now being classified by many health agencies as the NEW SECOND HAND SMOKE... Businesses and individuals will not be able to ignore this for much longer. The world is discovering just how harmful and unnecessary these chemical fragrances are. Many work places are already being forced to become aware of this rising issue from the plethora of health conditions people are developing due to exposure to artificially scented products. Health issues related to fragrance include, exema, asthma, migraines, ADHD, autism, hormonal disorders, birth defects, depression, autoimmune disorders... etc. I truly hope that Chuze Fitness makes this adjustment and implements a policy that regulates this. It is worth it. And for all individuals not yet aware of this phenomenon, please switch to unscented laundry, personal hygiene and cleaning supplies at home as soon as possible. The health of you and your family could be at risk if you use artificially scented products. This is not about right and wrong, it is about awareness and choice... and community. I know I am not a victim, and I do not blame anyone or hold grudges. I know we are all doing our best. It is very rare for me to speak out over a societal issue like fragrance, but I feel this is worth it. I am simply standing up for the heaven on earth I believe in. We all deserve to be healthy and breathe fresh air. My sincere gratitude for anyone who decides to contribute to a fragrance free world.

Although the variety of equipment is good at this location, I've been disappointed with the upkeep of some of the equipment. As a cyclist, I use the stationary bikes which seem to be malfunctioning or in states of disrepair every time that I've there. As a transplant from the closed RB location from Dec 2021, this is now the closest location to me. I last visited Dec 5, 2019 and at that time, I let the front desk know that their stationary bikes were not working properly. They let me know that they put in a work order. In January 2022, with the RB location closed, I now no longer had any choice but to transfer to Escondido. I have on several occasions informed the front desk about problems with the stationary bikes (asset tags 3566 & 3567) but have been told that work orders have been put in but yet to see any results. While I understand Covid has impacted supply chain issues for parts, it seems to me they are not doing much to maintain these bikes. I am now seriously evaluating other gyms closer to home that seem to have better maintenance on their equipment.

Phenomenal staff and really good gym. Always showing love and each member takes time to care and inspect the equipment. Francisco is one of the most genuine guys there, not knocking any other guys…they’re all awesome. Also all the women are all great too all around 10 stars. Way better with cost and personnel this is a jewel in Escondido.

No they do not.
The Chuze in Escondido will be open. I will be taking the UJam class at 8:30am.
No summing pool, has hydro-massage, tanning, sonar for premium membership
I would check their website they have a full schedule up there of the classes or just go in.
They dont have spin classes, but they do offer a variety of cardio, yoga, barre, zumba, ab-focused, etc classes. If you look on their website, you can view there class schedule by location (each location differs). To partake in their classes, you need the oreium membership (which is only $19.99 a month).
