Great place to walk around the tide pools and explore for critters. Bring the kids they will have a blast. The beach is reachable by a steep path from the road above to the beach. There are bathrooms and outdoor showers to clean up the sand and salt. This is a big plus for the kids. The central beach itself it somewhat small and can become densely packed on the weekends. The tide pools can be found on either side of the sandy beach.

Picturesque. Gorgeous ocean vista and beach. Public access. Public bathrooms available. Down a steep, paved hill. Nature Preservation and Rehab area. Information boards posted along walkway.

it's an amazing view as you walk down the path to the beach. Wonderful place to take the kids and look at Sea Life in the tide pools. This location is beautiful and the sunset was amazing! You can see Catalina Island from the beach.

This place was the most beautiful and amazing beach I've ever seen... the ocean definitely could have stood to be lots warmer, but it's the Pacific Ocean, it's not supposed to be warm 😂😂😂 but seriously, this place is amazing.

No not really
We usually go before noon school trips are done by my son school every year and that is the best time to actually see some little creatures, also go in the web or facebook and they post the changes on the weather also noon is the best time to find really good parking.one more thing don't forget to bring good sandals rocks are very sleepery.
Tide pools are best at low tide. Good luck
You can either park on the street, near the houses up top, or if you drive further down the rd there is a lane that goes down to a parking area that has direct access to the beach, bbq area, playground, as well as restrooms.
The tides change throughout the day. You need to Look Online for the tides schedule. When it's low tide you can go out pretty far into the pools.
