I've lived here for 2 years and am only leaving due to a personal relocation to Durham. This location is great, the apartments and amenities are lovely, and the staff is phenomenal. - Location: very walkable to a ton of bars and restaurants on Glenwood South but also to Cameron Village, even to Downtown and NC State if you're a fan of walking like I am! Very safe, very convenient to Wade via St. Mary's for a variety of commutes. The vibe at this apartment complex does have a lot of different types of people, but I do think trends towards recent college graduates / young professionals still interested in going out and being close to the bars at Glenwood South. - Apartments: I will forever miss my high ceilings at this place and I always get compliments on my finishes and my apartment views. I have never had any issues with hearing my neighbors. I moved to North Carolina from Indiana so I was very worried about a potential uptick in bugs, but I have never had a problem and have maybe seen one bug in my two years here. As far as amenities go, the gym is really nice to have (especially broken up into more of a cardio area and more of a weights area) although it would be nice to have a cable stack added and maybe a few more machines. The gym is currently not open due to the pandemic but it looks like they are doing some renovations as well. The saltwater pool is a lovely amenity in the summer although it can get crowded at times. - Staff: Gina and Rachel are the best! So helpful, nice, easy to work with, accommodating, and friendly. I've always felt cared about and listened to in my time here. Maintenance requests are always taken care of very promptly and efficiently (Anthony is also awesome!) as were any other minor issues I had over the last two years. I can't say enough good things about all of the staff. I've had an excellent experience living at St Mary's Square and I would absolutely recommend it.

We have been living here about 5 months and love it! Location and amenities are great, as is the quality and layout of our apartment, but the best selling point is the staff! Gina and Rachel have been so helpful and patient. We moved here from a house in the Sandhills area, and we are new to Raleigh and apartment living, so we had lots of questions. Gina and Rachel always made us feel like we were no trouble! There are also monthly events for residents. This month was a pool party and we got to know a number of the other residents. We are vegetarians, so Rachel made sure there were veggie hot dogs! It is great being part of a small community. Many of the apartment complexes we visited were too large, but Saint Mary’s Square is the perfect size for us. I also love that there is a great yoga studio across the street and a beer and wine store only a block away. We also like the pool, the exercise equipment, the easy access indoor parking, so many things in walking distance and two local buses that stop right outside the door! One goes directly to Crabtree Valley mall and stops in the underground parking area, so even in bad weather, I can walk around in the mall! I would definitely recommend this place!

I love my new place- a studio at St Mary's. The layout is great, high ceilings, a lot of storage, full appliances in the kitchen, ceiling fans, and a nice size balcony. I moved in 1 month ago and they have been great about maintenance requests and move in process was easy. Excited to use the pool and other outdoor activities. Staff is very friendly and available.

Me and my husband moved here in Jan/2018, we couldn’t have made a better a choice. This place is close to everything we need, and the amenities are awesome. I go to the gym everyday, and i can’t wait for the summer, so we can enjoy the pool, and the grill. The staff is very efficient, and always really polite and courteous. The apartment is really good quality, comfortable and affordable! I love to sit on my couch and still be able to feel the breeze from the balcony!
