My first time despite passing it many times from here to there. So glad we stopped in. Really beautiful and shaded beer garden where you can relax and drink a nice cold beer. Ordered the pretzel with beer cheese and it was delicious, but what really stood out is the service! The servers are super attentive and quick on the refill! Next time you pass by, stop in!

This was my first visit to Red Oak and it was really good. Only thing better than the beer was the people. From the gentleman who welcomes you when you walk in the door to the two gals at the bar. The redhead Kristy was especially helpful in selecting a mixed beer (hummingbird lager with red amber - great combination) and weather updates so I could avoid the tornado warnings on my journey east. Highly recommend stopping in for a beer! Next time I want to also try the wursthouse on site for some pretzels.

Convenient to I40. Definitely worth checking out! All it needs to be a real German biergarten is the Rhine. Beers are traditional German favorites, perfect if you're tired of places with a lineup of nine IPAs. I tried the seven beer flight and liked six! The standard Red Oak Lager is killer, and I also enjoyed the Big Oak and 1516. Two dark options bring the rich sweetness, and one tab covers food and beer. German comfort food is a daily indulgence and Food Trucks provide variation. Don't pass it by!

The place is freaking beautiful! When you walk into the big gate entrance, it feels like you have left the Whitsett/Elon/Burlington all together! The small winding walkway just feels so much like a fairytale. The bier haus is very open and just feels like a place to be meeting people. The biergarten outside continues the atmosphere of the entrance path. It is honestly stunning to see what they have had built. It just isn't something you would expect for the area, especially if you remember how the land looked when there was just the brewery or before even that. I have always placed the original Red Oak bier as my favorite. Now they have even more eight options to enjoy. It is worth checking out!
