Don’t bother coming here early. The later you come, the better. If you are here in the morning they all take their 15 min break, afternoon they will take their lunch, without telling anyone so it gets very slow. After all employees have lunch they all work so much faster, and there will be a much shorter line to get in. The security guard is really nice but I think they need new management.

Awesome experience here! The guard and staff are pretty professional and friendly! Currently, they just accept appointment only, so need to call the number, wait from a few minutes until someone answered the call, guard allows person come in only within 5 minutes to the appointment. The place is super clean, need to provide the form, driver license and green card to update ssn. It takes about 5 minutes to finish everything.

NO help from this Fremont office whatsoever. They shouldn't have this fake misleading greeting to say your call will be answered. After waiting for 15 mins of listening to the music and 5 minutes of silence, the call would drop by 20 mins. How do you help customers if you can't call, talk to someone, and the office isn't open? They have had my brother's SSI fund for more than six months, and they have been ignoring calls, letter, and messages from the national 800 number. The office said they would mail the checks, but they haven't. To this day, I'm still trying to advocate for my brother to get his SSI.

Really poor service - I guess what else to expect out of govt. My wife got cut off in the middle of a conversation - the person who helped her was very rude. They dont answer phones and keep you on hold for a long time and phone cuts off. If there was less than 1 star, I would have given it.

The problem is that you will never be able to make an appointment successful in this Fremont office. If you try the whole day and finally reach someone and ask her never hang up the phone call. She will hang up your phone call on purpose.

Yes he said great point it is very frustrating I actually had to call twice the first time was for an hour and 15 minutes and the second time was for about an hour. Do not go to the location without an appointment they will turn you down, and make you call and get an appointment. It's very very frustrating especially when it just keeps ringing and ringing and ringing but just stay on the line and someone will eventually pick up and even the staff would even say it's frustrating because they're there to help people but with the regulations it makes it harder for them so yes it is a very frustrating process
