Great state park! Never a bad day to stop in and enjoy the river and hike. Plenty of parking and bathrooms and picnic areas!

Nice place to hang out and just relax. If you use side closer to CP, take the trail need the end and walk a few minutes to a nice area to wade in the river.

I always love walking the paths, & I couldn't ask for a better place to unwind

My most favorite state park, ever!! I love the river and the walk along the trail by the river is so calming and beautiful. You can see all kinds of birds, ducks and sometimes deer. The fishing is great too!! My mom and dad met each other at this park back in 1978.

The park was obtained in two phases. In 1946, Frank L. Tou Velle gave the state of Oregon 35.29 acres for park purposes, and, in 1964, an additional acreage was purchased from the Tou Velle estate. The park is a relatively flat tract of land on both sides of the Rogue River at Bybee Bridge. It is partly tree-covered in oak and poplar and is developed for day use.
I would imagine a good check would work.
Picnic side is still closed
