Waited 20 minutes for pickup with no one at the desk. Asked the register for some help and he says, “don’t ask me ask my supervisor!”, pointing behind the wall. What should I do then, climb over?? Had to leave without my package. This place is a time sink!

What a complete joke! I was expecting a delivery today as I signed up to be notified of my package's shipment. I received confirmation it was out for delivery today and stayed home to ensure I received it. Was home all day and no one knocked on my door. I got a text update stating there was an attempted delivery... I later find a notice left in my mailbox of an attempted delivery. So I go online as instructed to schedule for a redelivery or if I can just go pick it up and the website cannot locate my redelivery barcode number nor is there any information as to when it will be redelivered. What is wrong with USPS these days? Get your service back together! Now, I'm sitting on hold for 40 minutes just to speak to an agent to sort this mess out. UPDATE: After being on hold for 1 hour! The USPS agent stated there was a system error in the tracking. She gave me the number to the post office that is handling the package. I called it and a very nice and understanding lady helped me to locate the package and its driver. She ensured they will reattempt delivery again today. 4 Stars for the great customer service at the this office but still bad on USPS for having a system error and a postman never really knocking on my door. I overheard the lady speaking to the driver and the driver stated the box was too big (I ordered a custom made mascot) for her to handle and was hindering her from making her normal deliveries so she handed it off. Makes me believe this person never even attempted to drop it off at my house and left the note so she can do the hand off and allowed someone else to worry about it. I'm still waiting on this package and will update my review upon receipt of it.

Excellent Customer Service from Loyal Employees: I've been going to this post office since 2002. Some of the same employees from over 15 years ago are still there. I've always been treated well, and the friendly staff remembers me (for the right reasons). On more than one occasion, the staff went above and beyond to find packages and other 'lost' items in the back. And, they always came through. Even with a line, the staff always allowed me to hand cancel stamps on packages to my uncle, who is an avid stamp collector. Yes, nearly ninety years of collecting stamps. But, it's like Christmas for him each time he he receives a letter or package that has the 'bullseye' stamp that includes the date and place on the stamp itself. Kudos to this post office for taking the little extra time and allowing me to do something nice for my uncle.

I've seen other people have issues at this post office, but my business (mostly shipping out packages) with them has always gone over smoothly without issue. Have all your ducks in a row before you visit this post office and you shouldn't have a problem (in other words do your research online and prepare at home first). I've worked with several of the employees here and although none of the them have particularly outgoing personalities, they are all pleasant enough if you work with them and listen to what they are telling you.
