Stopped into the beach bar for late afternoon drinks and appetizers. It was nice that it was midweek and quiet and that allowed us to get in before the resort was full. We missed going there during the covid years. They never skipped a beat, same great everything, people, service, food and view !!!!

Needs a complete remodel from head to toe, old, there trying to milk the cow until no more milk so to speak, room had minor carpet beetle infestation. Overall kids had fun ,lake, two pools, game room, etc. Wife said breakfast lousy, reastruant closed but dinner outside by the lake bar was good, ( burgers and apps)/drinks. Lots to do in the area. Nothing is super fancy in that area so they don't have much that they need to keep up with.

Upon arrival the nice lady at the front desk upgraded our room. Which was very nice. Our room was ground level overlooking the lake. The views are just stunning. They doing some renovating which is nice. The kids loved the pool. They have a bar right on the lake which is beautiful and the front desk staff was always polite and accommodating. Especially in todays world I definitely appreciate good customer service as I’m finding it a rare occurrence lately. Would definitely stay again!

Margate resort is such a great place. Food is excellent at the bar on the water. Make sure you try the sweet chili sauce. Chef Matt’s sauce. Been staying there for years. The bartenders are the best and will take good care of you!

You’d be better off staying in your car near a McDonald’s drive thru, than at the margate, word has it they have a breakfast in a bag that’s at least hot and more realistically priced, garbage motel that calls itself a resort, never again for moi !!
The room I stayed in was clean, bed was comfortable. Let's say the rooms are adequate. I had a wedding at Margate, so it was convenient to stay there. This would possibly be a 2.5 to 3 star room.
Hello Stephen. Offered all year round, each morning our overnight guests enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast in Blackstones Restaurant. Our hot breakfast buffet is also available for an extra charge per person every day during the summer months, and on select weekends in the off-season. For lunch and dinner, our Gazebo Beach Bar is open daily during the summer (weather permitting), until the Sunday of Labor Day weekend. During the off-season there are no other public lunch, dinner, or bars on site. However if you are interested in a private event or group meal, please inquire with our Sales Office as private group meals and beverage service can be provided anytime all year round.
Yes all of our rooms are currently equipped with Bath & Body Works brand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. All items are from their "Stress Relief" series of products.
No sure
I use to work at the resort and the views are nice. You can see the beach and catch entertainment of any kind on either side of the building.
11am though you can checkout later if you notify front desk but there's probably a small fee I'd imagine.
Yes. The Inn building and Lake building has a few rooms that have the option of opening the two rooms up together.
Yes
If it's the busy season and you want to GARENTEE a early check in your best bet is to let front desk know in advance. Usually May through October are very very busy due to events and weddings.
