This is now my favorite place in Laconia! The building is cool. The staff are kind. There's modern techy stuff that makes it convenient. I can't believe I didn't take advantage of this gem sooner!

Great new wing, nice space for learning and solitude, solid collection.

This library looks like a castle on the outside. I would visit it just for the architecture alone. But they also have an abundant supply of literature as well as helpful librarians. My sister and I did a dungeons and dragons program there which was also really fun.

They don't even a fax machine, or a scanner and have ONE printer that all patrons have to share. So if you're in a rush and need to print something and fax it....ha, you're fresh outta luck!!!!!!!!!

The library opened again on July 14th. Computers are available, and visits to the library are 45 minutes per day. This includes use of our computers. https://www.laconianh.gov/336/Library
No, we asked last week. Maybe staples?
if you can show a laconia address.
Laconianh.org has a listing for all the positions the city are looking to fill. City clerk, firefighter and police officer. I'm pretty confident they list the library positions there as well.
If you live, work, go to school or own property in town, you qualify for a free library card. Otherwise, you may purchase a non-resident card for $50/year. You may also request books through the state van system through your home library, and they can request materials from any library in the state on your behalf should they not have what you're looking for.
You can go online with using your library card and renew it or call. Hope that helps

Go to the Library's website. Scroll down and you'll see a button for eBooks. With your Library card, you can also sign up for Hoopla. This app has tons of eBooks, TV Shows, movies and music.
Yes they do. I'm pretty sure they charge for it though. Maybe a few dollars.
