Enjoyed my time there in early June. All sites I viewed had shelter.

Stayed here with the family as always. As others have commented, there is no water at the sites. Just make sure to fill before you come out or bring long hoses. There’s a drinking water bib by the restrooms, the showers were hot, but you have to hold the buttons down to keep the water going. It seems like the delays aren’t there anymore. Overall it was a very pleasant trip, the marina is low, only one boat at a time, dogs had a good time. Then again any time they can get in the water they have a good time. We plan on coming back up in the early spring.

We reserved a large group site and 4 other sites for a Youth camp. The facilities were nice, well kept. My only complaint would be the large shelter wasn't shelter enough from storms. Maybe some design flaws like small holes in the roof that allow rain through and the whole area then flooded. I understand we can't stop the rain and all, but just have a better shelter to escape the rain.

7/28/19. This campground is a quiet place to relax and enjoy the lake. It is a much smaller campsite as compared to the sites across the lake which is very crowded due to the large number of sites. My Foster kids enjoyed their first time at the lake and the water typical was around 74 degrees. Bathrooms are clean with two showers. One regular and the other handicap. The marina store is very small so bring what you need.

Reservations is your best bet.
July 5th is what the Ranger's said over the weekend
Most sites are reserve only. There's maybe 3 or 4 that are not, in both lower and upper loops. Go to reserveamerica.com to see what's still available.
