Very nice campground and spacious. Trail’s to hike, and it is within walking distance of the river. The camp host must enforce the rules of LOUD music and people drinking past midnight.

This campground is awesome! Nice sized sites with concrete picnic tables that are covered, concrete drives, bbq grill and fire pits. There were fire restrictions so no fires, no problem. Very clean sites, both sets of bathrooms were immaculate no matter what time you went in. Whoever the camp host is, they're doing a wonderful job on upkeep! Kudos!! There is a bit of a walk down to the river if you've never been there.

Deplorable road to get to campground but beautiful campsites. New Mexico could improve the road in.

It was great. We were staying at the group shelter. Electricity and water a plus, plenty of tables, bathrooms very short walking distance and clean. Fishing spots a short distance away. Hostess, Kat was very friendly. Only downside, showers are 8 miles away at the camping site by the dam.

Yes you can make reservations for cottonwood campground at Navajo dam. But I would call first to make sure it's open because of the fires they have had around there. Yes they have both reservation and first come first serve. But it is a very nice place to stay
