Just picked my pup up from her getting acquainted day at Pet Paradise Phoenix. Upon picking her up, I was told that they felt she was too "nervous" to go in with the other dogs. I'm sure there was probably some apprehension due to it being her first time there. However, she is a regular at dog parks and seems to do very well in that environment. When I asked the gal at the desk what behavior she exhibited to make them draw that conclusion, she said her ears were back and her tail was between her legs. That's all good but my dog doesn't have a tail. To top it off, they brought my pup out with her harness put on completely wrong. I know this might be a little petty but come on! Shouldn't a place that caters to dogs know how to do basic things like putting a harness on a dog correctly? Maybe the service was due to it being a free introductory session. At least, I hope it's better if you pay.

I really like this place. They are reasonably priced and their staff really cares. If you have grooming needs specific to your dog you just need to remind them or bring them a list upon arrival but other than that it's a great option.
