Beautiful little place with a lot of history. The architecture of the building is wonderful, and there is some very sympathetic restoration happening to keep the Mission looking as great as it is. The staff here are amazing, really helpful, and very knowledgeable. The insides of the buildings are exquisite with the carvings and hand painted murals and walls. Great gift shops selling authentic art and handcrafted goods on site. Nice place to visit. Will take about 60 to 90 minutes to look around everything.

A fascinating church and associated grounds to visit again and again. More renovations are currently taking place, and the church's exterior will be resplendent in white once complete. We've been here multiple times, including during a pow-wow, and the O'odham members who operate things are welcoming. Stop by the gift shop for a good selection of souvenirs, and try some fry bread out front. Keep in mind that this is an active church, so check to see when Mass is scheduled before you visit. Whether or not you're Catholic (we aren't), this is a must-see destination when in the Tucson area.

A fun place to visit. The only thing that bothered me was the Virgin Mary statue was above the Jesus Christ statue. Jesus Christ died on the cross for us and we have salvation through him alone. The Virgin Mary bore Jesus. Please get this rite.

For its age, church has been preserved well. Was here 15 years ago but still renovations ongoing. Scaffoldings in front of the church. Only a small area for visitors. An Ok visit and don’t expect too much. Gift shop on the right side of the church. Usual souvenir and religious items. Free parking. No entrance fee to go inside the church.

All day long they're all English mass
Not under plexiglas and yes you can lift the head.
You can visit the museum and grounds outside. When ever they are open. If mass is going on you are welcome to join but not allowed photos. I was there this weekend and saw no special hours for memorial day- so should be open.
When we visited earlier this year, it seemed that they are very, very RARELY closed... within their daily hours, of course.
