The Buddy Holly Story was a marvelous show. Cast of very talented singers, musicians and dancers. And of course a large dose of nostalgia and memories.

Last evening we had the rare treat of bringing my family to an exceptionally well produced version of Rogers & Hammerstein's Cinderella. As an avid theatergoer with years of professional experience I give my unqualified "double thumbs up" to a remarkable, professional rendition of this classic musical. Every aspect of the production - acting, singing, and dancing; production values, and overall ambience of the theater-going experience were par excellence. And although the theater held a sell-out crowd of 1800, the proximity of a large segment of the audience to the stage action (intertwined with liberal use of aisles) qualifies the experience as an intimate performance. The genuine enthusiasm of the ushers and theater personnel transmit a family business vibe immediately - most welcoming to the patrons, and especially younger ones. I defy any professional production to best the startling quality of the vocals - dead on in terms of intonation and timbre, all aided and abetted by a tastefully mixed audio production and sound design, and an amazing pit orchestra which never overpowered and always delivered. A special shout out to Kevin Hill, Producing Artistic Director who executed a choreographic tour de force in that most challenging of stage environments - theater-in-the-round, and masterfully executed by an enchanting cast . Costumes, lighting, special effects - all on a high level of professionalism. Thank you for a great evening out. HIGHLY recommended.

First things first. It is a theater in the round. A technically marvelous and seamless rendition of such. I went to see smokin Joe's cafe. The actors and actresses were exceptionally talented and had proper chops. The lighting was highly competent and did not overwhelm in an uncomfortable way. I will most definitely return.

Not a bad seat in the house. Great acoustics

There is a waiting area with snacks and drinks but as for going into the show about 20 minutes before but you can hang out in the outside area for about an hour there are other shows going on
Julie I believe you sent this to me in error. I haven't posted anything regarding North shore Joe B
A live orchestra is located adjacent to the stage. The heads of the musicians are roughly at the level of the stage. Depending upon where you're sitting you may not be able to see them but the sound is in no way affected.

Unfortunately, Titanic played for two performances, both to packed houses. Each day was completely sold out. Be sure to get your tickets early to ensure the best seats for NSMT's musicals! Online is the fastest method, but calling the box office is a breeze, too.
Yes absolutely! Call office to order tickets and they will give you seats on aisle or special area. The shows are wonderful!
I think its an hour beforehand. But please do not quote me on that. HAVE FUN!
The Backstage Bistro is NSMT's full-service restaurant, open before every performance up on the hill—they also serve a fabulous Sunday Brunch Buffet. For quick-service options, the theatre features your standard concessions (two bars serving popcorn, candy, cookies, pretzels, beer, wine, cocktails), as well as a Cafe for coffee and baked goods. My personal suggestion is the Garden Bistro for items made to order on the grill or sandwiches. In the summer/autumn, sitting in the courtyard and gardens with a few bites is quite relaxing for pre-show. Have fun!
Yes. They have a great restaurant in the back. Reservations suggested!
It is the original. The source is wrong.
Yes. I am a subscriber and I have called to change tickets various times due to conflicts. If you are not a subscriber, you might be able to, but I don't know. Hope this could help
No children under the age of 4 will be permitted in the theatre including babes in arms. There is a CONTENT ADVISORY listed per show to best assist in your judgement. For Example the upcoming production fo MAMMA MIA! says "Recommended for teen and adult audiences."
I am I subscribed and all five of the musicals have the standard intermission and the information is listed on the program playbill as to after what act or song it will occur!
1. Mame 2. Peter pan 3. Mama Mia 4. Jekyl and Hyde 5. Hairspray
May 2nd
There is a handicap parking area but some walking is still required.
Call the theater
Are you asking about auditions or audience members?
You can buy gift certificates as gifts, but they can't be redeemed online. You need to call the box office directly, which for me was a very pleasant experience.
Hello. The Christmas Carol is being presented December 8 - 23. Prices vary by date, but are from $62 to $77 per seat.
It is easier online and you get to choose your seats!
Sorry, I don't know the answer to that question.
Yes, I think it is called the Backstage Bistro and you look up menus online.
