Our Samsung TV had sound but no picture. This shop was the designated repair shop. As soon as the part came in they squeezed us into the schedule. Tim arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue and repaired our tv. He was very pleasant and efficient. We appreciated his help very much!

I've used TV Specialty Shop not only for buying my big screens, but also for repair of same. They have always been professional, straightforward and honest in all of our dealings. I would highly recommend Tim and Michelle and their business to anyone needing high quality products and repair for their home theater needs.

Had someone fix my screen on my new Samsung TV named Tim on Monday, and I was shocked at how fast he was! He also helped me put my TV on the mount better than it was before and gave me some great tips. He also was just a great person that was courteous to my home and enjoyable to talk to. Definitely a great place to go for TV repair or any other TV or home theater need!

Tim from Specialty came to my house to work on our new LG TV. He fixed the problem and explained what he was doing. I have used TV Specialty for years and have always received excellent service. I would highly recommend them. It's nice to support a family run business. Thanks Tim!

Jason is correct. We do fix LCD televisions. Though if it is a problem with the screen/panel it is quite expensive. All other problems with few exceptions are cost effective for repair. Thanks for a great question!
It could be. The HDMI is much more difficult to repair. In many cases a main board must be replaced. Whereas the coaxial input is much simpler and can often be repaired without new parts. Basically, the only way to asses the damage is to take the back off see what happened. Does this answer your question?
Okay, thank you. Do you know where I could get this fixed?
I only called them about my problem which was entirely different I suggest you call them yourself
Thank you for your question. We do accept Citi debit/credit cards. We do not have authorization to accept payments from brandsource however.
We are practicing all safety measures that the State of Oregon is requiring. Limited occupancy in business, social distancing, all employees masked at all times while working with others, and all employees have been tested when any symptoms arise. Pens, countertops, and workstations are cleaned regularly.
The culprit could be the lights the power supply or the main board. It’s impossible to say without diagnosing it. Most of the time it is the backlights.
Sadly you are correct. That problem is not cost effective to repair on that television. You can bring it to our office and we can dispose of it in a responsible manor. Thank you for your question!
I’m sorry to hear that! When the screen is damaged of most TVs it is not worth repairing. Especially true with Sony televisions, as Sony parts tend to be more expensive.
Yes we do. Parts are very scarce for these, but many repairs we can do at the component level.
Let’s eliminate cabling problems as an issues. Are you running all video though VCR, then to your television? If so, most likely problem is your VCR. If you are running DVD player and VCR directly to your TV, and you are on the correct inputs on your television, then your TV main board could be the issue. If you are seeing no standby light on your TV, and no change in your screen when you power on your TV, then your power supply could be the problem. Sadly, it could be many issues, average $200-$250 to repair. If it is cabling, a $65 service call fee from a trained tech could fix your problem. Feel free to call. (541)688-5061
The diagnosis fee is $50 for a tv 40” or larger, $40 for a tv 31”-39”, and $30 for a television 30” or smaller. A description of the problem, as well as the part numbers will all be included in any estimate we do. Please feel free to visit our website, here is the link to repair estimates and fees https://tvspecialtyshop.com/television%2Fce-repair
We do fix blu Ray players. Our flat rate for a small component (like a BluRay player) estimates are $20.
They're going to have to order you a new motherboard it might take a while
