I've been coming to Discovery Park since last October for my walks. What a fantastic place people fishing, all the ducks. The park is clean and well maintained by Vince and all the other maintenance crew. Thanks to all.

Great place to fish and open spaces for walking, sports and exercise. The mother of all trout was caught here 2.2lbs/1kg on 01.26.2022

This was a pretty cool park. It's actually not 100% a park there's about four swings and a little rock climbing area. They also have a basketball court and a volleyball area. Walking around the whole entire park distance would be a couple miles so that's awesome. They have steps to work out on also which was cool. a good place to take kids to go rollerblading, riding a scooter or biking. Also a lots of area for dogs to run around people were fishing. You can see it from the road it was a very easy place to find. A couple people had birthdays there it's a very open space.

I really enjoyed my walk around discovery Park. It was a bonus having a full moon to admirer as I walked. You can walk around the entire park or you could walk along the lakes as well. They have volleyball, basketball, several fields, patios to gather for birthday party’s . Watching the ducks on the lake is always enjoyable too.

I wouldn't recommend it. Great facilities, but from an artistic stance, pretty flat and boring. Freestone park would be better, but no t by much.

They do have private events there but I am not sure how to range that you would have to most likely call the city of Gilbert and asked them who you would need to talk to about that.

Can you fly drones here?

Conner Pogue | Jul 1, 2019
Ron Roberts | Jul 2, 2019

Legally the answer is NO if its not an AMA approved flying field such as the Elliot bowls in Mesa. Located on Elliot between Signal Butte and Ellsworth. Im not sure if Discovery is an AMA field but I do see people flying there without being hassled.
