The burrowing owls were relocated due to the new exit ramp construction. The parking lot is all new now. It is noisier now due to the ramp access, but still a nice little park for a dog walk. You can access the Roosevelt canal trail just on the other side of the 202 off Lyndsey and ride 50 miles of trail if you want, which I've done.

The park is still open with modifications as of 08/07/22. I went a number of times but never got to see the owls. I enjoyed walking and seeing the large number of birds in the lush field just to the south.

Cool, little place to walk and or take your dog too

I went to Zanjero Park to see baby owls. Unfortunately there were none to be seen.

I visited around 6pm a couple of weeks ago and some were out.
Dogs on a leash and pick up your dog's poop. Great place to walk!! Extra wide side walk or walk them on the trail area!
It is just shy of 3 miles
I've seen a lot of birds out there, but no roadrunners. I go to look for burrowing owls, snowy egrets, and redwing blackbirds. It's a lovely park for birds
