I am extremely pleased with the staff at Englewood Animal Health Center. They are very friendly, helpful and courteous. Dr. Michael Herrington is a Vet-Doctor you really want to have for your furry friends. He is exceptional, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable.

This was my first visit. After a bad experience with my last vet, I did Google research. The Vision / Mission of this hospital is what drew me to them. When I called, Dana was extremely helpful and understanding of the issue I have been dealing with on my 13 year old golden. She was able to get us an appointment in a relatively short period of time as new patients. When we arrived, Rachel was very polite and kind. The Tech we met with was very attentive (I'm sorry I don't remember her name) and listened to what we shared. Dr Mike was the vet we met with. Again, he asked questions, listened to the answers and laid out a detailed plan for treatment. He answered all questions I had thoroughly and thoughtfully. My first impression of this practice could not be more positive.

This place is simply amazing! I have had a hard time trying to find a vet I felt comfortable with until I came here. Everyone there is so nice and they go out of their way to get you seen as quickly as possible. Emmi loves Dr Mike and staff !!

I live on the east coast of Florida but was spending the weekend at Little Gasparilla Island when my dog Bandit got sick. He was up all night coughing. I showed up Saturday morning without an appointment since he needed medical attention. They were so great. The receptionist squeezed him in. Dr. Mike was great with my pup. He gave him a thorough examination and prescribed medication which helped my old puppy rest at night. I am so grateful to Dr. Mike and his whole staff. They were all so nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that loves their pet and wants quality care.

Yes we do board. The rate goes by night and varies dependent on your dogs weight!
I am pretty sure they treat all pets, just give them a call. There are pictures of the vets there with a ferret.

I spoke with their staff. The 3 year vaccine is $25.50, but that doesn't include the office visit (I was told the total would be $55.50 for an established patient). When I asked if their rabies vaccine was mercury free, she very happily checked the label. When that didn't provide an answer, she said she could call the manufacturer to find out, but being a Saturday it would have to wait until Monday. If you are still interested, give them a call during the week and they'll be more than happy to help you. They've been great about helping with any and all questions! I hope that helps.
