I would like to thank the staff at Sunnybrook for seeing my Boston Terrier right away as an emergency yesterday. We were not already regular clients. I was turned away on the phone by other clinics in the area for not being an established patient. My baby stepped on a bee and I was afraid of her swelling and her airway closing. When we arrived they quickly took my records and gave me paperwork to complete. The tech came out and asked what regular medications she was on, one had actually slipped my mind until she asked. I was in and out in under 60 minutes and my baby was safe and back home with me. She already has heart and breathing issues so this momma was feeling rather dire in having her seen. Our regular vet, a nationwide corporate hospital, would not see her. Both of my dogs have been with them since they were puppies and my previous dogs had been with them as well. Over the years I’ve probably given that company 10k or more. I understand some places are short handed but when you are on a plan with them and call for an emergency just needing a couple injections real quick and turned down it’s a little aggravating. Mind you, my dogs were just there exactly 7 days ago. That particular corporate location has only had them as patients for a year but loyalty should deserve some kind of priority for a small emergency. When these “plans” run out from our current regular vet, I will be transferring everything to Sunnybrook. They have a clean, welcoming hospital with many quality retail products as well.

Hard to leave any review when we try and make appointments on line and this establishment won't return calls emails etc. Just fine by me if they can't return a call or message then I'm sure my Family members won't receive the proper care.

Alway great care and compassion from doctors and staff at SunnyBrook. I have taken all of my pets to SunnyBrook since arriving in 2013. They are caring and sensitive to my needs as well as my pets. There is always explanation and usually options for treatments with costs taken into consideration for the pet parent. Grooming services are also available and can be done in conjunction with a Vet appointment to save trips. Great for me,as I have an older Golden Retriever, who has difficulty getting in and out of the car, which they help me with, once I’m there. The groomer did a great job trimming Magnolia for the warmer weather. She’s beautiful and shiny again! Ninja, our new rescue has some issues, which they are trying to help us resolve. He is not easy to examine, but Dr Lavinia did so, treated him and distributed easy to administer medicine to me. The staff has been friendly and helpful, always and most have been working there since I’ve been taking my pets to SunnyBrook. It is usually a plus, if a facility can keep its staff, even through an ownership change.
