I’m a 20 year Military Veteran who has patronized Walmart on 35th Avenue and Southern in Laveen AZ since it was built. On Friday July 1, 2022 around 10:48pm my wife and I were checking out at the self checkout register. My wife scanned a Great Value brand of honey and the "customer assistance" light automatically came on. We noticed a worker and called for his assistance (even though it was obvious because the light remained lit). The Walmart associate's name was Miguel. Miguel walked right past us without attending to the help we needed and walked over to someone else. When he was finished he was walking away and we called for his assistance since he initially ignored us and the red assistance light at the register. He looked at the error message and asked us what was wrong? We told him it came on after we scanned the Great Value brand of honey. He logged into the register and asked us what the price of the honey was. My wife and I gave him the correct price. He fumbled with the register some more and then told us we couldn’t get the honey. We asked why and he said it’s not registered in the system. We explained the price was given to him and he got irate and said he didn’t believe my wife and I. He stated we were probably lying. I told him his comments were very disrespectful. He further went on to belittle us saying: “we had two choices: "go get another honey or y'all won't be able to get any at all!” I told him not to speak to us like that and especially in that disrespectful, authoritative, and condensing manner. I explained to Miguel I was a Veteran and would not tolerate his rudeness. All of this rude and unprofessional behavior took place right in front of our young son. Instead of arguing with Migual, my wife and I asked to speak with a manager and he refused. Instead Miguel left (even though he told us earlier he couldn’t leave with us to verify the price of the honey) and he went to speak with some coworkers. He never came back with a manager. He came back and scanned something from his phone and said he didn't have the correct app on the device initially. He scanned the price for the honey we initially told him and he never even apologized. We again asked for the Manager, or at least the name and he said he didn't know. My wife and I told Miguel we didn't want the honey and he smirked and reluctantly took it off. We completed our shopping and as we were walking out, Miguel was staring at me with an intimidating smirk on his face, almost as if he wanted to start a fight with me. I ignored Miguel and as I was exiting the store I asked the greeter at the door for the name of the Store Manager and she directed me to his information on the wall. The next morning on July 2, 2022 I called the store to ask to speak with the Store Manager Jose Acevedo. The Walmart Customer Service Associate told me Jose was not in and had to go verify with another worker that he was indeed at work. She said hold on, she was going to transfer me and hung up on me. I called back, reached a different Walmart Customer Service Associate, only to get the same result: hung up on as they were trying to transfer me. I called back a third time, received an apology for being hung up on, finally transferred to the Store Manager's phone, only to be on hold for over 20 minutes. I never reached or spoke to Store Manager Jose Acevedo. I have travelled the world throughout my 20 years in the military: THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I'VE DEALT WITH AT ANY STORE. I was belittled, called a liar, stared at while exiting the store, given wrong information, hung up on, and denied speaking with the Store Manager. Shame on Walmart and its treatment of their customers and military veterans!

This Is one of the worst stores I have ever been to! No one wants to help. Instead they walk around on their phones. I asked for help and was told they would have someone come. Then 30 minutes later I'm told I have to go to the front to have someone paged. I go to the front and they won't page anyone. At this point I will drive across town before I come back here.

I get it we are just off a pandemic and Noone seems to want to work. Those who do are rude and those who aren't are just bombarded. This is what's happening at a lot of places. I have been to this store 4 times in the last 2 days. Just trying to print some pictures. First I tried returning a package that the app says just bring it in and we'll take care of it. Their labelnprinter is down. Then i try photo. First time was at 6PM. I ordered the prints then I came back for my prints a little over an hour later and the guy had gone to lunch. The girls that were there couldn't figure out how to get the printer to work. Another couple and myself waited over an hour for them to just tell us to come back the next day. Today comes and I go back and the order ran out of paper so it was canceled. There were four people trying to get prints and they were all having difficulties with error codes on the kiosk. After another hour I was able to re upload the pictures and a receipt printed for pick up. I tried calling several times to avoid another wasted trip and the line just rang till it was disconnected. I will say that Ari and Tee were awesome in their customer service and definitely keep their cool as well with the long lines.

Not to busy, but was a bit of a line and needed some more cash registers to have been opened up. Atmosphere was nice...the check point Customer service lady at the front was very helpful and after asking for help to find the school supplies section. She directed me straight to where they were locate. Their employees are very self sufficient. Needing no guidance or help from upper management. Very professional and very curious...loved their personality and amount of care given to the one on one attention to detail they provides you...job well done walmart supercenter employees.

I agree and you cant pay cash at self service registers? Wth? So i have a few items and have to stand in regular line behind ppl w full carts?
Most people would say shopping here is like a bad dream no try a danm nightmare customer service is a nightmare here grrr
I hate walmart no cashier will not shop their you ask for help an. The workers look at the asker so stupided
If you go around the first of the month, the locals have all gotten their EBT cards recharged with more of their fellow taxpayers' funds. Otherwise they stay pretty well stocked. I think a single line for the EBT card users might help speed up things for those of us who pay for those folks to fill up two full carts.
At any Walmart store, they change it. They give you your money or they exchange it for another item.
It's always like that. Thats y i dont go in there at all and i live in the area. I am so over that walmart and the way they run that store
