Great Mexican restaurant. The food is excellant and service is tops! Go at least once a week. Very comfortable feeling. I recommend that when you go ask to be seated on side with the bar and booths. Very mellow. The back part gets a little noisy. Sevice is fast and would say prices are good $$

Had the steak and shrimp platter this time. It came with tortillas like a fajita plate. The steak wasn't that big, but it was good, and I liked being able to cut into slices of my preferred size. Overall it was better than the steak fajitas Ive had there in the past.

I ordered fish tacos. The fish was over cooked and so dry I could barely swallow it. The tortillas were as chewy as rubber the toppings tasted like they werent fresh and to top it off I got stabbed by a bone left in the fish. Even the beans taste funny. Wont be back.

Nothing suppresses me about this Rodrigo's chain any more, ( formerly Don Jose's ) In my opinion, it has gone down hill for years. I'd be hard pressed to give them one star now. Find a new place to celebrate your birthday.
