I don't know what just happened but I just had an amazing experience at the DMV. I guess they must have changed something since the last time I was there but don't be too discouraged by the line outside. I think they're just keeping it that way because of safety protocols due to COVID. There was a young lady that came out and asked you why you were there and when we figured it out she gives you a card with your number on it and you walk inside. 20 minutes later they called my name and I was done 2 minutes after that. Granted I was just getting my bike re-registered but still it was rather painless. The fact that I was there for less than an hour is enough to make me right this review. Thank you very much for fixing whatever you fixed. Shout out to you.

ABSOLUTELY make an appointment online first! When I arrived, no wait time at the "Appointment Only" line. The staff came & get me instantly. I have completed all my application online with a confirmation number. Make sure to tell the staff that you have the confirmation number or else she would assume you have not completed yet & send you to the application line all the way at the back of the office (kiosks). Even with appointment time, I still waited about 15 minutes waiting for my number to be called. Not too bad. Once at the window, the staff is very efficient & knowledgeable. Got it done in just a few minutes. Shout out to Window #6 staff~ She rocks! Camera booth is all the way at the back of the office next to the application/test line. The staff is very sweet & patience. She even counts 3-2-1 before she takes the photo. So nice!! Over all very pleasant experience at this DMV location. Just remember to complete your application online & make appointment in advance then less wait time there!

I got here at 7:16 am. There a long line already. They line for appointments for driving test, appointments and for people without appointments. I waited awhile. I was given a Letter G. I sat and waited a while. I finally asked the security why is it that Letter G and the assigned numbers arent being called. The security told me the Letter G always takes long and it make me wonder why? What could be so hard in renewing your license. Then I seating there a little past 9 am when they I was called. I noticed that the employees for the G section had just arrived. I guest they start at 9 am. The woman who assisted wasn't friendly and pleasant. She acted as if just because she works the DMV that she can have an attitude and intimidate. I don't know if she was serious or joking when she asked me to do wear glasses or contacts? When clearly she saw me wearing glasses. Then she asked me to read the letters. I think that they should of how many people inside cause it was crowded. Other that the place was well kept. There were sanitizers on each windows.

Go to the DMV website! You can check in online for same day walk in on their website. And just wait in your home till your next. I saw a lot of people waiting in the heat. I just walked in no waiting. I checked in at 12pm and around 2pm I was called to be in line. I waited 5 minutes and I was next! Do all the process online! It’s way faster! And the staff is very friendly and helpful

You can always walk in... its just a much longer wait with no guarantee you'll be seen before they close.
No
Yes
There's a $35 fee i believe
They are closed
Yes but make sure u have everything u need once you leave the building you have to stand in line again to get back in
yes
Birth certificate, social security card, and a piece of mail with valid cali address(bills).
I believe it's the same fee as applying for an original/ renewal license, $33. You may have to take the written exam. https://www.dmv.ca.gov/portal/driver-licenses-identification-cards/licensing-fees/
They should have given you a red sticker that allows you to move it during that month.
I think yes!
Of course.
You can. A California drivers license would qualify as a real Id since it meets all federal requirements so you don't need a second id.
U had to tell the buyer
Yes, usually works.
Appointment
I visited the Glendale DMV pretty recently for my REAL ID and they were really good about social distancing and pandemic safety measures. The lines seem long initially, but there is usually someone who comes down the line to get you prepared and make sure you have all the required documentation and put you into the right queue to get what you need. I do recommend starting the application on the website ( https://dmv.ca.gov ) so that you get all the information submitted beforehand for a faster and smoother experience. The website should offer information on how to get California IDs for minors.
Earlier in the day is better. Even with appointments there is often a wait outdoors and there is very little shade.
Go online and apply for another one
My recent experience at the Glendale office is that they'll only help you with what they absolutely have to. Fill out the form as much as you're able then they'll help you with the rest. Otherwise, they seem nice enough...
Sorry but that I Don't know... I think if is Vission test ? i guess is on perSon ? But maybe You Doctor Can SeNd ! A Notice..the Your ! Vission is ok.. to the DMV ! DON'T KNOW..?
Varies. Location page on dmv.ca.gov estimates wait, but don't take it as gospel.
Yep, CA DMV offices in general aren't doing appointments anymore (except for driving tests and a couple other exceptions). Make sure you do your application online and just go in early. It's a 10-minute process if you get your documents sorted before you head there.
May I suggest calling your local police department to investigate or call the number on the ticket. Hope that helps and have a great day!
Sorry, can't help you with that one.
No, there were 2 seniors standing in line with me the whole 2 hrs. and the DMV made no accommodations for them
I think you can make an appointment for the test
Go early, like 2 hours before they open to get a good spot in line
No, but make sure you line up 1-2hours before they open
The problem is that I already have checked the testing screen at Glendale location and seen several languages available except for Farsi
No they dont. You have to take the test online. Then you go with the confirmation number. The only thing is. They dont take every day. Someimes they take only comercial driver licenses. But you dont know until the same day
You must get a appointment for permit test or go to the DMV, but first get a code.
Just adding to Ruben's reply. They are not giving out appointments but there are some things you can do as a walk-in. You must have whatever documents you may need by the time you get to a window. There are no in and outs. If you forget something in your car, you must go back to the end of the line.
Anytime. Butbit is line over there. You can drop your documents inside envelope and hand over to them they will take care of it. Or use vfo system
You have to register online. You will get a confirmation code that they'll ask you for. There was a specific line for driving test appointments when i went last week.
Fill out online application Write down 8 diget code prior to going Your old license. Debit card to pay That's all
In order to even get in with a walk up you have to fill out an application online. We went last week for my daughter's permit and others were being turned away due to not filling out the online application.
You have to go in to the DMV. I also tried to make an appointment and was told not until October 30th The lines look worse then they are. They moved pretty fast and our line was all the way around the building. Took about 2 hours but everybody was very friendly and helpful
Yes. Until 5pm but they will stop accepting people at 4pm.
Yes it is open but a very long wait right now. I would recommend going in with an appointment only, or doing it online or through the mail, or online.
No need, what you need to do is registered on line And take registration number with you to DMV.
Yea check the website to do that
They are available on a first come first serve basis, so availability is not guaranteed. The parking lot is often packed, so I personally recommend coming early. (I don't work at the DMV, but my job takes me passed it every day.)
No, IT have a lot parking overthere
On.line
Yes. There are two lines, one is for appointments and the other is for walk-ins.
Go another Office of DMV
4.00 pm. In the afternoon
Yes
No more h6 print out after the 20 of march 2019
Only way to know is to actually get to the DMV and they assess your situation.
Yes,allá the time
Yes
Yes
By going to the dmv. Takikg a proof of adress and another form of identification. If you want the new real ID you also need to take social security card and birth certificate
Definitely wait to be called since the booth ask for the renewal to be scanned and since you don't have it you are out of luck. 😂
Online and in the self service machine you can pay with credit card. IN the dmv you cannot pay with credit card
Yes, of course
I waited about 30 mins for registration help and did not have an appointment.
There's a line that says drive test, go there, wait for one of the employees to come out, and call your name. Need to bring car registration, insurance, and a driver with California drivers license
You have two choices, 1- their website.2- go to DMV office directly and do it over there. Both are easy.
Yes.. Require make appointment or call DMV
No. When a holiday lands on a Sunday it is observed on a Monday for government employees.
You can scan and upload or take pic and upload
Actually it depend how much it's busy some times they accept documents at 4:30
If you were lucky your waiting time would be 30 min if you filled your file online and Abe to provide the number except that forget it
police report first. then it will automatically go to the dmv database
On line in an air comditioned area would be more preferable. If you go there it will be at least an hour up to two hours. Parking is on n the back two lots. Don't forget a mask or you won't be let in.they also take everyone's temperature at the door and the numbers letters system they use dose not go in order. Bring your patience.
Yes. Just make sure you have all paperwork and physician's endorsement.
Yes, I think so
Mayor. Is possible
Yes
No copies are not accepted
Absolutely. Get an appointment online so that gives you time to get all the required documents and makes your visit to the DMV a lot shorter.
Yes they are open today. Until 5pm but be in by at least 4.
You can replace it. https://www.dmv.org/ca-california/replace-license.php
Go to Dmv.ca.gov but it could be 1-2 mo. For an opening. Best to come in early. Long are long so plan on spending a good part of you day. If coming in for DL or ID please fo your application online prior to coming in and save your confirmation number. Bring proper valid doc. And habe them ready for verification.
Hard to say. I was there both Monday afternoon and Friday morning and the line was long enough to go around the building. Make an appointment if possible.
That actually happened to us. When the time comes to renew take both the death and marriage certificate and ask them to issue a new one with you as the sole owner.
I don't think you can unless you get a renewal notice which allows for internet renewal.
If you refer to the vehicle's title, it will be send to you by mail from the financial institution you bought from or if you got it from a person just take it and transfer it to your name. A new title showing you as the owner will be mailed to you.
Yes you can walk in anytime but be prepared to wait.
Depends. If you have an appointment you can be out of there in 15 min. If you don't it can take up to 2 hours depending on how busy they are.
No really but it's always best when you have an appointment because you can skip the lines.
From 15 min with an appointment to 2 hours without, all depending on how busy they are at the time.
I never saw one
Yeah for sure
Usually takes 2 weeks. Try contacting the dmv and ask for an update.
Are they open on Saturday April 14 2018 in Glendale?
Yes. For behind the wheel test, you need to schedule an appointment through the DMV website using your learner's permit number.
Nothing and a lot. If the police stop you for any infractions you get another charge for driving with expired license and you can remove the vehicle. It is best to come to the DMV and request a renewal for $ 35. You can be fined a little but even so it would be much cheaper and that's not to mention that the insurance company can decide that you are high risk and raise your payments.
8am
No because you still won't have a permit or a license and if you get pull over by the cops they can impound your vehicle give you a citation and possibly arrest you based on the severity of the incident, not mentioning you won't have insurance..
No I don't think so
Yes
Make an appointment online for a replacement license and pay the fee. Make sure you bring another form of identity in case they ask for it.
Yes they do
if there is to examine it is better
You can do it online or call.
Thet do.
I would not ever go back to the Glendale DMV ever!!!! They suck their rude and I went there on 3 different occasions and every time I went I had the same horrible expiriance!!!
Nope
No
I called for an appointment but it assigned a random time. You can go in person to make one but, waiting in line still. Online is probably best.
Call the dmv and ask them.
If you're an adult lunch is anytime you want it to be.
Good to read the book but try the questions on their web site. It's free.
Yes, if you want to fart in DMV you need an appointment.
does glendale dmv give written test? what is a good time to go in & out without appointment
1st ask your parents if you are qualify to her one. Rest is easy.
Not through an app, but you can use your phone's internet browser to make an appointment at the dmv website.
