Beautiful trail right on the edge of the city. Just like that and you're out in nature. It's wonderfully peaceful.

hot! during summer, and not very kid friendly in my opinion. a basketball court and the large green area next to the park help. pokestop! as well

This is a wonderful, mid-sized desert-suburban park, right at the edge of some preserved state land, and adjacent to the East Wing trailhead, a gorgeous, 2.4 mile round-trip hike. The western edge of the park empties out onto state land, with mostly flat, dirt trails. Very scenic. The playground isn't giant, but it's nice. No swings, though. There is a restroom, basketball courts, and a multi-purpose field. The parking lot is pretty narrow. Overall, a beautiful park , especially if you want a more natural setting for exploration and free play.

Didn't do too much here; it's the trailhead and parking area for the East Wing Mountain Preserve. Make sure you use the water fountain to fill up your water. :)
