The directions send you 5 mins past the entry way to the trailhead. Brings you to a closed off area. The correct location begins at the west wing park. Google needs to correct the directions on this... The trail was great!

A difficult hike worth the views! From the top you can see all the way down to South Mountain. This is also a great place for wildlife.

A low mountain trail you could do it with ease about 4 miles loop. Can view a wide range of Peoria from the top. A direction board saying difficult climb is not that bad.

This place was beautiful. It was a great combination of easy and difficult. It was a great hike. Started around 745 in the morning and didn't finish till about, maybe 930-10ish. It got really hot towards the end so we took our time on our way back down. It starts in a parking lot by a park and heads into a path towards a school. The sign for the hike is to the right. Very rocky which is probably typical for the area. Bring extra water, you won't regret it. Overall, a great hike with great views. I would definitely do it again. :)

Yes. You can park your car at the playground park instead of the school and walk to the trailhead
