I have come to America's tire many times before because their price and service was good in past. The last time I went there was because I wanted them to fix a flat. They would not fix a flat eventhough it was in the middle of the tire and the tire had a lot of thread left. They stated that they would not fix a flat because they can see repair plug being used. I stated to them that repair plug was installed per manufacturer instructions as a temporary fix. I further showed them manufacturer website that explained plugs can be used as temporary fix. But the manager stated that it is their company policy that temporary plugs are unsafe and kept wanting me to buy tire. Needless to say i took my tire to another shop and they had no problem fixing the tire. I also want to say that I am a mechanical engineer with more than 20 years of automotive experience in both design and manufacturing. I want to conclude by saying that every years enormous number of good tires are sent to landfills by crooked companies like this one that try to scare customers in the name of safety. Tires impact the environment significantly in both their production and disposal. Don't let crooked companies like this one scare you in the name of safety when the tire can be safely repaired. I am thinking of referring this matter to an attorney for class action since by manager's explanation it appears that the scare tactic is a company policy and not just an isolated incident.

Outstanding Service! I had a nail in my tire causing it to loose air. They fixed it for free in about 35 minutes. How cool is that!

I just got new tires at American Tires on Central in Montclair, CA. I ordered tires, paid for, & made appointment all on their website. This morning, for my appointment, I hadn't even gotten to the front door, when a great customer service representative came out to greet me & check me in. He knew who I was by my appointment time & car. Also, sounds like you go to the head of the line when you make an appointment on line.They text you about where your car is in the process & when all is done. Less than an hour & I was on my way. Friends of mine recommended it and they met all my expectations & then some.

Nice location, the customer waiting area clean & organized, meet pandemic standard. I was greeted by Ernie, now, wait, I didn't have to go inside? I mean as soon as I parked, he's already waiting for me what!!! 😱 What kind of C.S level this is? One of these days, I guarantee, we don't see & enjoy much elsewhere.
