It is a transit center, located in Montclair. There are buses going from Montclair to San Bernardino, Fontana, Upland, Claremont, and Pomona. Furthermore, there is the Silver Streak bus, which goes to downtown of Los Angeles. It is located adjacent to the Metrolink train station. So, I would usually get off in this location, and go to catch the bus going to Cal Poly Pomona. Of course, it was in the Spring of 2018, when I was finishing one of my last courses, at the university.

It is a good transit center! There are buses connecting to Pomona, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Upland, Montclair, Claremont, and Fontana. Adjacent, to the transit center, there is the Metrolink train station, with final destinations to Los Angeles Union Station or downtown San Bernardino. I have used this transit center many times, while going to Cal Poly Pomona, and catching the bus, to get there.

TRAVEL CHEAT SHEET 690 is the quickest way to citrus college, don’t take the 188, too slow, runs through bad neighborhoods if you are looking for a quicker way to Fontana, Omni’s 66 Line is rather slow, just take the metrolink 3 more stops to Fontana

Yes for foothill transit buses each bus fare box can accept cash to load onto your tap card max of $20.00.
I only know about the silverstreak. It runs 24/7, but after midnight they run like every hour until 5 a.m. because thats when more business people show up and all other buses too. Use your google maps to tell you which is still running at 4 a.m.. Besides that, watch out for the crazy people. Yeah, there's homeless, and there's CRAZY. When you get there, you'll see what i mean.
