Questions & Answers

Can I get birth certificate here even though my son born in Pomona

Montclair City Clerk | Jun 22, 2022

The City of Montclair does NOT hold records of births, deaths, or marriages. You may obtain birth records from the county in which the event took place or is registered, or from the California Department of Public Health. The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk would be the appropriate office for someone born in Pomona. For more general guidance, visit the California Department of Public Health website at https://www.cdph.ca.gov/ then click "I am looking for..." to open the menu, and click "Vital Records" under the Health & Safety heading.
